You put those on your card, right? You're not referring to the hemdall failing at 95% are you, because it will but doesn't matter.

Stickied with my post-it-note 3

If you did in fact put those on the card, maybe they were bad downloads, I do recall a red error on my phone screen but ignored it and everything worked

In Heimdall it doesnt even show "95%" it just says "ERROR: Failed to send data!Releasing device interface..."

For clarification, what step # are you on? The only place you would see that error is in heimdall, and you've stated you're stuck after running the zip files in recovery..

Following the step numbers, you shouldn't be using heimdall after flashing MI9_fix.img.ext4

I suggest starting from step 1 and remember, there's a difference between download mode (used for ODIN and Heimdall) and recovery (used when flashing .zip files)

Edit

If you are getting that error while flashing mi9_fix, then check the following:

Size of the MI9_fix.img.ext4 file
Your note is in download mode
Zadiag.exe reported a successful driver install
Heimdall says "device detected" after clicking detect device on the options tab
The system partition is selected in the flash dropdown

"9) IMPORTANT--After flashing the sec_csc, the Note will reboot.
Try to catch it in time to reboot BACK into recovery
Once in recovery, select "Choose update from external" in the recovery, and select the 2400258.zip you downloaded earlier."

What happens if I could not able to catch it time to reboot back into recovery??
as it says instruction Note will reboot, means when it reboots do we have to press any key combination to get back to recovery?

nothing terribly bad - it is just really simpler and quicker if you catch it on the first reboot.
You have to hold volume up and home to enter recovery mode.

You can use this method (follow from step 5) but it will factory-reset your data partition.

If you don't want to factory reset, you'll need to use kingo:cyclops:
would rather factory reset then using kingo! Thank You! SO doing all the steps after 5 will root my phone and it won't trip knox right? Sorry just been behind on this Note 3.
