since May 2011 (!!) iam using (nonstop, daily) your latest HyperDroidGBX rom and guess what: I'm damn happy with this! So, many many thanks for your work at all so far!!

I'm just wondering why there is no more update - did you just concentrate on your CM7 ROM? I mean, at April 2011 I gave it a try - but the HyperDroid was at this time really far way better... (IMHO Maybe I should give your latest CM7 another try... but on the other hand, never touch a running system. HyperDroid really works 99% perfect. Just to say "der absolute Hammer" (absolute awesome)!!

But back to my question: Will there be any further work on this great ROM? Or did you cancel this project so far?

I have just few days ago suggested same idea to Xylograph to ask permission for continuing maintance of this release. He have that minimal approach which is more than appricated.I think that Xylograph could make smashing release updating this one ROM.

That would be nice but kind of pointless since GBX is based on Redux. Am I making since? Just my opinion though. Only difference the drop down menu I think.

To make a 99% perfect rom 100% perfect sounds like a good idea.

I mean, the rom works still pretty well so far, but sure it has some little issues (which can be handled by restart and so on).

The main and important things for a business user are working more than perfect.

For me, this is the awarded rom of 2011.

Same for me. I installed this rom april 2011 ,since then never install any other rom.Works perfect.it has some issue like if i continuously take photoshot it hangs but that tolerable cause i never take cont shot.

For the fotoshot issue i found out, that this will mostly happen if u switch the flashlight on or off.

Hey guys,
amazing rom! boots up in literary seconds! so smooth battery life is great.
only problem facebook & current widget not compatible with this ? and market sometimes gets connection errors never had this issue with other roms.

A good trick is, to delete several caches from time to time. Do this in the app manager.
Also clear the DALVIK cache (but only this!!). After that reboot takes a longer time. Then reboot again and everything even facebook should work fast and furious

I've been using it since April 2011 than 2 months ago I went in flash frenzy
I tryed like all active ROMs, MIUI's, Desire's, Sensation's like most of all from different devs and man I swear this is the best ROM for Leo in xda, probably in the world ever made.
Hats down for pongster and everyone who bring it to us

Yes man, i absolutely agree.
For marketing reason, i would recommend to pongster to update the date in the headline - of course probably with a fixed rom. Maybe a fixed cam. But thats it so far.

A stable rom for business and every day user.

This is maybe something what *non responding pongster* could answer if he would be able to respond some time.

This gbx rom "as is" is just working great over days, weeks and months of usage. From a business-usage side of view, where you do not want to maintain hourly new updates and versions, it is perfekt, because every important part is working stable or just perfect.

Pongster could earn money with this ;-)

I used Your ROMs for HD2 and loved them. I would like to do ROMs like you do, but for other phone. But I don't have programing knowledge. Could you, please direct me what to learn and where to read. I need to learn to make kernel and rom. And, no, I don't expect to learn it over night. I hope for pm, since I can't send u one.

Did you modify something?

Normally that cant be...
Have you some app that changed settings of auto-taskkiller?
Why do you use a taskkiller anyway? The build-in should do fine.

Okay: System tuner pro has a taskkiller that has option to kill on low memory.
But that would only be a fix not looking for the cause..

Even on dorimanx rom without taskiller (okay has swap and zram etc) i get my ram to overflow. Do you use his kernel? Maby without our initrd?

I'm using the tytung r8.3 kernel

No I haven't modified anything, it was a clean install but for some reason my phone lags when 4 apps are open, last week it was so bad that the screen just turned black and battery had to be pulled, I use a task killer cause of this issue... if I don't I'm afraid thay my phone might end up in a un-usable state... all I did is install apps and I don't even have that much apps installed...
