The new SanDisk 128GB sd card is stated to be Nook compatible.

device compatibility list

Amazon is offering it for the amazing price of $ 120 (200 at best buy)

But be aware, most installations will not use the card without some modifications to the operating system. By that I mean operating systems are by default using the built in sdcard and external cards are not used for much.

Agreed. I would never try using this for a "run cm from the sd card" or "install cm for the first time" procedure.

Just for us folks that like using the external SD slot to hold a ton of videos, photos, music, etc...

I have the 64gb SanDisk card in my 32gb Nook HD+ now for the last couple of months and it worked great.

The 128gb card will up the Nook to a 160gb total capacity media monster. :)

So the card arrived a few days ago.

The first time I inserted it, the Nook HD+ said it needed to be formatted.
I think they come from sandisk as exFat.

I formatted it in the Nook which made it Fat32.
Formatted the card shows 119Gb free.

After unmounting it and using a speedy usb3 sdcard reader to
copy gigs upon gigs of media, I inserted into the Nook and it
froze, then soft rebooted.

It works just fine otherwise. I can copy files from the internal memory
to the 128gb card no problem, but if I power down then turn on or unmount it, eject, then insert
the card any time, it will freeze and soft boot. The 64gb sandisk card never did that.

Running verygreen's CM 10.1 build from last August which I like
as I don't really have any issues other wise.

I usually leave the Nook on all the time and let it sleep so
it's not really a big deal, just thought I would share my experience.
