Did you try kingroot? I haven't tried it on marshmallow but i got it to root on kitkat.

Why not just flash the latest SuperSU zip in Twrp recovery?

This is a good method. I don't know what I was doing wrong but at the beginning of the whole process, I failed to flash twrp itself let alone su, but when I tried kingroot, it worked. That allowed me to do the other stuff.

Did u try the PC version or ask version of king root? Flashing in twrp is a good method. Keep browsing the forumz, there are many tutorials that can help solve your issue .

The rom is pre rooted,i suppose you are not asking about this rom

Have you unlocked the bootloader ?
If not then do it by following the instruction on htcdev.com
Then flash twrp and supersu or whatever root method you like



Also any thing not related to the rom should be in help thread or a new thtead in Q&A section thanks in advance

No i use the WWE variant
But it doesn't matter which variant you have the steps is the same ( except for Verizon that variant you have to pay to unlock it )
