Hi Doc. I have a problem with the homebutton. Everytime i use it it ask me to choose the standard launcher which ive chosen in the settings of the apps. Do you have an advice?

IMPORTANT : New base have updated bootloader so if you are running previous base, you must needs to update Bootloader & Modem else device won't boot. BL and Modem included in ROM zip with separate instructions.

I am not running the ROM because it takes a period longer than the factory warranty that would be lost to install it, so I ask, if it had any equipment failure, there will be a way to totally damage the software including the download mode, so much so that it cannot be detected the existence of Root ??

I am not running the ROM because it takes a period longer than the factory warranty that would be lost to install it, so I ask, if it had any equipment failure, there will be a way to totally damage the software including the download mode, so much so that it cannot be detected the existence of Root ??

Bro life is short, don't worry too much... Enjoy your phone on steroids with a custom ROM.

Chances that the phone will break because it is faulty and would still turn on to show them it has been rooted, are very small.

All of these rules are made to discourage you from getting your phone to work FOR you.

Even if it wasn't rooted and it broke after a few months, chances are the seller would still find some dumb excuse not to replace it or fix it.

Now a days it's really very very hard to hard brick device. Only condition I know that easily hard brick your device is
Flashing bootloader with twrp (specially bootloader file is corrupt / wrong)

Always flash bootloader files (with md5 extension only) with odin.

Probably not SIGNIFICANT... The Kernel is still the original. But batt life is pretty good.

For me, battery life is not so good like on Note 10+. Playing a game like Clash of Clans or looking videos results in higher battery drain. Playing Rise of Kingdoms with middle settings results in a CPU temperature of 68 degrees and very high drain. I switched the 120 hz display to ordinary 60 hz which is a bit better but in comparison to the Note 10+ the S21 Ultra consumpts too much battery. I hope that Samsung will end to use the Exynos in the next generations of smartphones.

Yes. All three parts needs to flash, Installation.txt in bootloader zip have this instructgion too.

That's why I've been praying for a custom kernel lol. I have a snapdragon note 10+ with a custom kernel and battery life is insane compared to the exynos s21 Ultra. Still doing the same usage and I easily get 2x the SOT on the snapdragon note 10+. I feel like the exynos is very power hungry and just poorly engineered as a SOC ( yep I'm aware that the s21U has a better display and more power hungry specs but I still feel that the battery is weak overall on such a high end phone)

Also just most features that I liked most in other roms in the last 10 years..

Love it and probably this is the Reason why I will buy an S21 Ultra now my next one

Also I like that you added privacy and removed the bloat ****. Looking forward to expand on this.

Why didn't you flash R05?

@paul_cherma SOT debates are just a wankfest. SOT has hundreds of variables... Screen resolution, network strength, screen brightness , background apps etc...
