Keep device connected to PC and repeat, it should reboot to TWRP

my CSC is OXM. Does this have to do with the phone not boot to twrp?
Or maybe the phone is on android 12?
Should I downgrade to A11?

At all people with problem with activated e-Sim and need to reboot to actived it, i have the solution

You must go in tweakspro under csc last point e-Sim it will show enabled, but you must tab right on it, and set it from enabled to ON, apply it, reboot and it work from now on, without reboot like stock,

Hi all,
I'm trying this rom , also have tweakspro installed. I have a couple of questions.

1) I read that something is changed in how the system manage the kernel (kernel proc files) and now all the apps that monitor the network connections didn't work properly . (tried several and all stay forever in listening without prompt any connection or IP) . Also "Network Connections" with root access don't work.
I can see the wi-fi icon activate and deactivate the double arrow but not traffic seems generated in "network speed monitor" (app for trace the download and upload traffic) . I also disable the network test that ping the google servers.
I would know the apps list that are using the network and the IP address they are using.
Do you know some apps that can monitor in real time network connections in android 12?

Found a solution! PCAPdroid . SDK31 work on Android 12 ! Ok is not direct and use a virtual VPN... it do the job.
I can finally stomp all the trashy apps that work in background without my consent. (or any consent in general)

Said failed to mount carrier invalid argument and failed to mount preload invalid argument. Also I got TweakPro N20_2.0.8, when I update to TweakPro N20_3.0.3; no function does, like:

No idea as I never needed to mount those partition.
TweaksPro 303 also have this function. Enable from key remap - power menu. Write us email in case any issue related to TweaksPro

First of all, thank you so much for your ROM and great efforts!
Secondly, I want to tell you about my personal experience.
1) I made a dirty flash of the rom and applied it to my magisk rooted UI 3.1 without any problems. I made a Nandroid Backup of my Android 11 installation first. I flashed the image and the zip. As expected, I got a boot loop. I flashed your BL_DrKetan_N986BXXS3EULF.tar using Odin and it went fine, my phone started up and upgraded to Dr.Ketan Android 12 stable.
2) I continued with testing. I went into your newly installed version of TWRP in order to restore my old Android 11. It was not possible to see the backup made by the previous version of TWRP twrp-c2s-3.5.2_10-A11_1_ianmacd_Sep21 using N986B_TWRP_Icanmd_mod_by_DrKetan_S01.
3) I decided to downgrade to UI 3.1 flashing the same original stock ROM (keeping in mind I could install the Sep 21 TWRP and restore the Nandroid backup). Here starts the real problem. It looks like you cannot flash stock Android 11 with Odin anymore because Android 12 significantly modifies the system... You can only flash stock Android 12. For me it's a sad story.
4) What's really bad that I can't root my Android 12 stock anymore. I can flash N986B_TWRP_Icanmd_mod_by_DrKetan_S01 and enter the recovery but I get a boot loop no matter if I flash the BL_ afterwards. Maybe I should use another TWRP version for my UI 4.0 SM-N986B ?

Important Instructions for setting up ROM (NEW)


- In case clean installing ROM

• on first boot, open magisk and complete the additional setings if asked for, else exit the magisk app. (Don't setup any option in magisk now)
• Then open ROM Tool, Apply essential fix and Reboot, don't apply any other changes before reboot
• Again Open ROM Tool - Mods & Misc Fix - Apply SafetyNet Fix - Now SafetyNet should pass. Here same time you can apply other change from ROM Tool if requires (like statusbar option, other mods etc). You can use this app from playstore or This from Github to check SafetyNet
• Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.
• Since A12 Stable Magisk not working and new Magisk doesn't have buil-in Module repo, You can get standalone module manager from here For more details and queries about new magisk ref this

- In case dirty install (You can try if you are on DrKetan ROM previous version but we DO NOT RECOMMENDED)

• Clear ROM Tool data
• Before installing ROM, uninstall Magisk manager from app drawer
• After ROM installation, update Magisk from installed stub
• Then Follow above instruction for clean installation
• In case you have any issue after dirty install, don't post queries on thread, we don't support dirty install, simply go with clean install.

PS : Plz don't install any other mods for SafetyNet, All queries related to Magisk/SafetyNet will be ignored if already explained above

• We recommended to flash Stock firmware before flashing this ROM if you are on too old base or on other ROM , If not full, at least flash Home_CSC*.tar.md5 file from stock firmware with CSC tab of Odin. This is specifically for
  • N985 Device (Any group of CSC)
  • N986B device with non OXM group of CSC (To check your CSC group, Dial *#1234#. If CSC part doesn't starts with N986BOXM your are on Non OXM group of CSC
• For N986B device with OXM group CSC (If your CSC part starts with N986BOXM) files are included (about 98 CSCs) in ROM setup file, You can see complete list of available CSC in aroma installer. You must select to flash CSC option if your csc is part of it. This will update CSC files to same base.
• New base have updated bootloader so if you are running previous base, you must needs to update Bootloader & Modem else device won't boot. BL and Modem available in download area (separate for N986B and N985F each) with separate instructions packed inside.
• Clean Install is recommended always.
• Don't Install any module related to SafetyNet Fix/Busybox/Multidisabler etc, Everything is included in ROM itself.

@dr.ketan I was doing a lot of troubleshooting this morning trying to get Google Pay to work on your A12 ROM.
Seems like I picked a very unfortunate time to get back into root/Magisk since there have been major changes in past couple of months in regards to Magiskhide.
Even though I had applied the fixes in the ROM Tool, it wasn't working until I realised zygisk had disabled the Riru and kdragon safetynet fix modules. I decided to do a fresh ROM install and left zygisk alone. Google Pay seemingly works now (I could apply the card but still need to check with a real purchase).

Long story short, given zygist is still relatively new would your current advice be to avoid using zygisk if we want to use the google pay fixes in your ROM?

ROM Tool enables magisk hide instead of zygisk. Both are same. If you want to use zygisk, you needs different version of safetynet fix. I am sure many users might using GPAY without zygisk too (magiskhide). Rom tool setup all require environment if follows instruction, manually changing things mess up everything

Actually both are doing pretty much the same. I have choosen to autoset (If user follow instructions, ROM Tool itself install and setup require environment automatically) magisk hide enable because many users still don't know about Zygisk, and reading instructions and updating themselves regularly in this forum is not common lol!
