Went to developer settings, put them all at 0. In Nova laumcher, same thing. Yet animations are still here. Any other way to get rid of them for good?

None that I know of. It looks like some transitions does not have animation (opening and closing apps) however other do (minimising app). I learnt to just live with it, its still somewhat fast.

I'm having the same issue 😡. Gonna look for some magisk module

The irony... I was typing a reply to you to say the last update, 582, fixed a lot of things including that. All of sudden the phone completely freezed. The power button didn't work. After a while it rebooted by itself. After boot, after a minute or so, it freezed again. Auto rebooted. It went on that loop for like 5 or 6 times. Then i disabled wifi and mobile data on safe mode. Booted again and didn't freeze. Fortunately it's working fine now. Already backed up everything with migrate just in case.

I wonder if oneplus actually test the updates. Nevertheless, i got fed up by the last batch of bad updates i asked for a refund on amazon. Arguing the phone was behaving in an erratic way. They accepted my request.

I wanted to get out of this oneplus addiction, but the price for a 11 on amazon's second hand market was good. Plus a gift card discount. Plus the fact the Nothing phone 2 does not have an alert slider. So here i go again. F*ck...
