(14.07.2011)[Theme for Theme Engine (CM7...)] Black Elegance

Black Elegance is a very basic glossy black theme for the Roms having the theme engine incorporated.

Update 14.07.2011 -Black_Elegance_v1.1
-- Status bar notification further themed
- Powerwidget,music and genie widgets made glossy black instead of transparent
- notification power widget icons remade ( to differentiate between pressed and non-pressed)
- coloured notification for incoming mails, messages.....
- framework further themed
- Phone contacts apk themed further
- Facebook and Twitter widgets themed
- Keyboard themed to a glossy black
- Gmail apk themed with colourful icons when menu pressed.
-New glossy lockscreen available for metamorph. (works on nightlies ; didnt test on oxygen)



Changelog 07.07.2011:
-colourful icons in the settings menu
-colourful icons on menu press
-phone dialer is totally themed with a glossy look
-contacts themed with a glossy look
-slider on incoming call themed
-genie widgets, music widgets made semi-transparent
-power controls semi-transparent
-notifications, notification bar themed with a glossy black
-notification power widgets themed ( they are bigger and colourful)
-other various things thats i forgot to mention
-background on receiving call is now pure black (instead of the stock grey-black)


How to install the Metamorph:
-Download the metamorph zip
-Extract the zip file
-Create a folder 'AndroidThemes' on your sdcard and put the extracted zip in it.
-Download Metamorph from market and install.
-Enter metamorph( might get errors but keep on trying) and pick existing theme, APPLY.

This entire theme was made from scratch by me;.I need your feedback to make it better!
On installation, you might encounter an error _this theme is missing assets for your screen's device...... just ignore it and install, then reboot your phone. enjoy!

- what apps do you want themed?

Very nice theme.
I vote for less (or no) gloss on the notification widgets. It can be hard to tell what they are when not selected. I do like the larger size of them.
I prefer the all white/gray notification icons.

Thanks. This is something i didnt realise. You are right about the notification icons. The problem is that i have used the same glossy frame for both selected and unselected icons. I will make a gradient bet them the next time. like no gloss for unactive and glossy for active

thanks for the feedback. I will keep the glossy notification with the same size but will make it easier to make out between the 2 like i said up.

whether it will be coloured i will see. maybe i will create 2 versions.
