Do I need to apply assential fix every time I reboot? I find myself having needed to reapply the long press home mod every time. Which is a little annoying.

thanks, idk if you see my other rom requests for features. but id love to see screen off torch with the power button and custom nav bar bindings like what you have now with the issue i mentioned. but with log press back for a specific function. much like crdroid has. just some ideas.
also, is there a way to get motorola dolby working with extras edits and such? stock dolby seem boring and limited. imho the volume is a tad low but could better be boosted and more bass. idk if script edits still are a thing for phones like how the s9 and note 9 were.

I'm still on T02 as a pro user and my Google pay app started acting up. When I open it it says "google pay is updating right now But you can still use your phone to pay with [a specific card]". I've tried reinstalling but no luck. Was there an update that might have broken this? Any workaround other than updating the ROM (I know I should but I'm really struggling with health right now).

I just can't wait to restart my Samsung flashing journey which i have left after Galaxy S5, now i have bought this first Samsung device after so many years, i have enjoyed your ROM in Note 2 which is still with me with no software support. Now i am just giving few months before unlocking bootloader and flash this, had to check the device out fully in case i would require a warranty claim. I will not think twice flashing this (908E).
I use 4 days your Full system-rw ROM but after this i flash full stock rom with full wipe (CSC_OXM_). And now i have big problem-i cant flash afaneh92_lp_rw_tool_v0.4 script on stock rom. Just download the full stock firmware for your specific device and flash it with Odin. Pretty much the same as flashing the T06. ROM. But you'll need to decide which CSC to use from your download when you flash.
- CSC – If you flash the CSC file, it’ll perform a factory reset of your Galaxy device and wipe all data while installing a new firmware to bring your device to the same state as it was when you purchased it. Go with CSC if you want a clean installation.
- HOME_CSC – On the other hand, if you want to keep your Samsung phone’s data and settings even flashing the stock firmware, you can select the HOME_CSC file.
Make sure to make a full backup before you do anything and that you're installing the correct files for your device based on your model number and region.

Some Corrections :
When you moving custom (decrypted) to stock - you only have choice is CSC* as you needs Factory Reset while moving from decrypted data to encrypted data
Once you root device, It never come to "the same state as it was when you purchased it" It's one way, certain features never work on stock because of tripped knox.
All quiet in here. That's a great indication of the quality, function, and stability of this ROM. Great work Dr K! Thank you!!

Just went to pay using Google wallet and for some reason its now saying my phone doesn't meet the safety standards. I've not changed anything and everything was working fine on Wednesday which was the last time I used my phone to pay. I've done the usual wiping of cache and checking the apps are on the deny list. Any ideas? I've attached the modules I have installed and the error message

Bit of a rant but this is the one thing about Samsung that really bothers me... The knox permanently tripping. I wanted to trade in and get the S23 Ultra but decided against it thanks to Knox.

IMPORTANT : In case you dirty flashing ROM,
- In case your existing ROM have different version of Magisk from one you are going to Install (Check Changelog for Magisk version info) then first restore magisk app in case you have hide (rename) it and then uninstall magisk app from app drawer. After ROM installation, you may have stub (Magisk sortcut) for Magisk, you can click there and update. If no stub available, download Magisk apk from download and Install apk manually. If you are using same version of magisk then nothing requires to do for magisk.
- Remove *DrKetanROM* magisk module(s) then straightway Reboot to download mode and Flash ROM

Setting up device first time after ROM installation
- Check for Magisk app, if not available/only stub available, Install Magisk apk → Open & allow run additional setup if asked for → Reboot
- Open ROM Tool from app drawer and Apply essential fix and Reboot,
- After reboot you can check SafetyNet and should be passed. You can use this app from playstore or This from Github to check SafetyNet (ROM Tool will offer to install this during Essential fix too)
- Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.
- Since A12 new Magisk (Zygisk) doesn't have buil-in Module repo, You can get standalone module manager from here (ROM Tool will offer to install this during Essential fix too) For more details and queries about new magisk ref this
PS : Plz don't install any other mods for SafetyNet, All queries related to Magisk/SafetyNet will be ignored if already explained above

I get what you're saying mate, and i apologise for coming across abrupt. In reality, its so good to not have to worry about flashing TWRP anymore, of flashing the wrong version etc and bricking your phone etc.. Booting into download mode and flashing this rom is so simple you cant go wrong.. Granted, copying a flash file to ones phone and flashing via stock bootloader sounds great, but considering how busy he is updating various models, im just happy to have an ODIN flashable rom..There's no harm in asking mate.

WARNING
Before you root your device you must be aware that
- This will void warranty.
- As of now you will lose Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass forever if you root once, even unrooting won't help.
- There are many features stop working when you unlock bootloader other than S pay/Pass like Samsung Health, Secure Folder, Galaxy Watch pairing issue, Issue connecting old gear watch (S3 or earlier), Google Pay etc but ROM is patched for all these mentioned features. Still you may trouble using some bank apps and these may fixed by adding these apps to Magisk Hide
- There may be some knox features there which you may not able to use but I can't list those as I never used. Just Google It
- Patched featurs are working today when writing this, No idea if it may stop working next moment/tomorrow or later
- Also to note, once you root, you can't go back to "pre-rooted" state completely. It is one way!
- OTA won't work once you root device.
- ROOT with caution.
- You can unroot & Relock bootloader after flashing stock firmware, but still your warranty flag remain 0x1 and most of countries it still voids warranty. Also after unrooting & relocking bootloader, some knox features never work again.

What I am planning is to make Odin flashable ROM from next version. Now a days on newer device you needs PC & Odin to flash bootloader so making ROM with TWRP flashable zip still you needs PC, Instead if I make Odin flashable ROM then it will be much easier. Even you no more needed to have same firmware installed.
Installation will be swift like
- Flash provided files with Odin with respective slot
- Wipe/Format will be optional if you are already on my ROM. (must in case you are on stock/encrypted data)

Looking to poll results, it seems most users wants Full system-rw ROM including Mods. So finally found a way so users with any choices won't get disappointed.
- To make a Full ROM + Mods (No Magisk module requires). This will only for S908B & S908E - This will be for users with choice 1
- Above said ROM will have option in ROM Tool to remove customization, with this you can remove all customization and retain with pure stock experience. Before removing customization, still you can apply essential fix so it will keep all important systemless fix like SafetyNet/GPay etc. - This will be for users with choice 2
- Magisk Model development will remain continue for all other variants including S908B/E
I am Testing Full ROM including mods now on S908E, soon it will be public.
