Hello guys. Can someone confirm that dual sim option working on N976B?

I've owned and used a N976B for exactly three years this week, but have never known it to have a 'dual-SIM' capability. All I'm trying to do is root the piece of garbage, simply because the gps.conf file for my country's stock ROM seems to be incorrect. Sadly, I'm yet to read an in-depth step by step method of rooting the N976B running stock N976BXXS8HVJ1 which will allow me to flash in a ROM which is as close to vanilla as possible.

It have dual sim capability not officially. But unofficially it can be costumized for dual sim.

A rom é maravilhosas, tive problemas apenas com aplicativo nubank que não faz a prova de usuário ao tirar foros com a camera frontal, creio que por conta do root. O apk CÂMERA receberá up dates? No demais muito grato e desejo novidades para nossos notes 10 plus aqui no Brasil.

Rapaz, ao menos na versão S05, não tive problemas com aplicativos bancários. Mas claro, eu criei o hábito de fazer backup de tudo com o Swift Backup, e restaurava na nova instalação, e não precisava reinstalar os aplicativos novamente (NuBank).
Tem um tempo que eu não utilizo essa ROM, mas vou experimentar nessa ultima versão. S07.

Obs.: Ao postar aqui no forum, poste em inglês. Geralmente o pessoal daqui requer isso.


Boy, at least on version S05, I had no issues with banking apps. But of course, I got into the habit of backing up everything with Swift Backup, and it restored on new installation, and I didn't have to reinstall the apps again (NuBank).
It's been a while since I've used this ROM, but I'm going to try this latest version. S07.

I use N970. I have the latest firmware N970FXXS8HVL3.

As I see on the downloads page the bootloader for my phone available is the: N970FXXS8HVJ1 one.

Would there be a problem if I continue the installation with it? Should I use the N970FXXS8HVJ1 firmware instead the N970FXXS8HVL3 before I go on?

toggling adfree mode always need to restart the phone, or instructs me to restart

Hello, my note sim 4g signal was working fine until it all over sudden loses signal at some places completely. For instance always no signal when inside my apartment. I hear note 10 plus have this issue? Mine is a n975f. It's there a way to signal fix? Or do I need change antenna?

As usual I went for the dirty install, everything seemed okay, except the date of the Android security patch was still on May 2022. I don't know why, maybe because I flashed the optional Home_CSC directly after flashing your zip with twrp (without rebooting first to system)?

Anyway, to be sure I flashed your zip again and then went for the factory reset and all OKAY ofcourse

Pictures won't save,else i didn't found big problems yet

Installer states 2020 and android R (Aroma info failures)
Please Dr.Ketan fix that <3
Am pro user and don't want to miss your rom

I'm very happy to user Dr. Ketan Pro on my N975F. It's amazing.
Actually I'm on S04 and have to upgrade.
I did backup everything for now.
I have read, that it's recommended to flash OFW before upgrading - really?
Do I have to upgrade TWRP before?

Edit: My mistake - OFW is only needed between Android 11 and 12....

I will proceed as mentioned:

- Click on BL tab and browse to BL_DrKetan_*.tar.md5
- click on CP tab and browse to CP_*.tar.md5
- click on AP tab and browse to AP_*.tar.md5
- Put device in Download mode (Switch Off then - Press Volume Up & then Press Volume Down (Keep holding both) and connect device to PC with USB cable)
- Connect device
Select 'Start' on Odin
Disconnect when successfully flashed, it will reboot itself.

Once done, I have to flash Dr. Ketan Zip via TWRP, right?

Also to add, if your csc is not a part of OXM then at least flash your regional csc (A12)
You can download stock firmware for your region and extract Home_csc*.tar.md5 and flash it along with bootloader and modem

Seems like I only have this issue.
I wipe everything, install the rom, install Magisk, apply essential fix then reboot.
Next I do is install the call recording, it takes so long and it doesnt even give any notification if its installed or not. So i restart my phone and it just breaks/removes my root. Its been like this ever since.
Wth am i doing wrong?

Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.

On first boot, Check for Magiak app, you may needs to update stub/Install apk manually. open magisk and complete the additional setings if asked for, else exit the magisk app. (Don't setup any option in magisk now)

Magisk is built in custom kernel, SO DON'T update/flash magisk, else it will cause bootloop, In case this happens by mistake, re-run ROM zip, skip everything but Flash kernel and finish installation.

There are two things 1.Magisk & 2.Magisk app(manager)
If magisk app (manager) not installed you can update from stub (non working Android icon) or manually install apk (manager)
Dont update/flash magisk (top part in magisk app)

I looked into my magisk, on the ui is the following. Do I have to do anything else? Not sure if i remember of installing the magisk manager, I did install the fox magisk module manager and lsposed I think from the romtool

It's fine, at presently no update there, don't update in case you see update option in above screen in future.

I have question, do you have any app suggestion that can do automatic file sync? The scenario would be to transfer from folder a to folder b, then delete everything from folder a because I don't want any duplicates. Perhaps one that uses the least resources possible
