From next version of ROM, I am going to change in ROM Tool. Now it will auto enable Zygisk (Instead of Magisk hide currently) and patch accordingly for safetynet.
Still I will include Magisk Alpha instead of Stable Magisk. Remember, Magisk alpha means it is same version of latest Magisk but it have both option like Zygisk (New method) or Magisk Hide (old way), So users will have liberty to choose any. ROM Tool enable and setup for Zygisk by default, If you want to use Magisk Hide method, you have to setup and fix safetynet on your own.

Ok, i attempted to install from stock following directions and when i get to flash twrp it fails. I am b unlocked, i am also on android 11. Should i go up to 12 then follow instructions?

Is anyone else using Gmail and noticing that notifications are not coming through? I've tried deleting and re-installing the app as well as removing my account and re-adding. I am not get any push notifications.

Just bumping this up as I got no response, is anyone having this issue? I'm gonna try a new clean flash but was hoping not to. I did a clean flash to begin with. For some reason I have not found a solution. I can get notifications through Gmail for my exchange account but not for my Gmail account.

- This will void warranty.
- As of now you will lose Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass forever if you root once, even unrooting won't help. (hope in future we can get it working on tripped knox device)
- OTA won't work once you root device.

Check the Installation Guide pdf - Option 1: Dirty Install, that's what you are up to.
It's not recommended, but it also worked for me and I haven't noticed anything wrong yet.

Yeh I already have, other ways I wouldn't be able to flash so1. I tried to flash so2 on twrp but it gave an error, wasn't able to flash it. I wondered it's cos I haven't done all the steps I did to flash so1 or is there something else maybe corrupt file or something else.

Important Instructions for setting up ROM (NEW)


- In case clean installing ROM

• On first boot, open magisk and complete the additional setings if asked for, else exit the magisk app. (Don't setup any option in magisk now)
• Then open ROM Tool, Apply essential fix and Reboot
• After reboot SfetyNet should pass. You can use this app from playstore or This from Github to check SafetyNet. There is separate SafetyNex Fix option available in ROM Tool - Mods & Misc fix - SafetyNet fix, You can use anytime if needed.
• Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.
• Since A12 Stable Magisk not working and new Magisk doesn't have buil-in Module repo, You can get standalone module manager from here For more details and queries about new magisk ref this

- In case dirty install (You can try if you are on DrKetan ROM previous version but we DO NOT RECOMMENDED)

• Clear ROM Tool data
• Before installing ROM, uninstall Magisk manager from app drawer
• After ROM installation, update Magisk from installed stub
• Then Follow above instruction for clean installation
• In case you have any issue after dirty install, don't post queries on thread, we don't support dirty install, simply go with clean install.

PS : Plz don't install any other mods for SafetyNet, All queries related to Magisk/SafetyNet will be ignored if already explained above

IMPORTANT NOTES :

• We recommended to flash Stock firmware before flashing this ROM if you are on too old base or on other ROM , If not full, at least flash Home_CSC*.tar.md5 file from stock firmware with CSC tab of Odin. This is specifically for
  • N985 Device (Any group of CSC)
  • N986B device with non OXM group of CSC (To check your CSC group, Dial *#1234#. If CSC part doesn't starts with N986BOXM your are on Non OXM group of CSC
• For N986B device with OXM group CSC (If your CSC part starts with N986BOXM) files are included (about 98 CSCs) in ROM setup file, You can see complete list of available CSC in aroma installer. You must select to flash CSC option if your csc is part of it. This will update CSC files to same base.
• New base have updated bootloader so if you are running previous base, you must needs to update Bootloader & Modem else device won't boot. BL and Modem available in download area (separate for N986B and N985F each) with separate instructions packed inside.
• Clean Install is recommended always.
• Don't Install any module related to SafetyNet Fix/Busybox/Multidisabler etc, Everything is included in ROM itself.

MTP Not working means : You can not connect device with PC while device rebooted on TWRP
And other bug as stated DOn't use Reboot to Recovery Option from TWRP, both are mentioned above, rest all working.

Update TWRP bug : It seems I found a workaround and MTP is fixed but yet Reboot to recovery bug is there (will check if can be fixed). I have not tested patched TWRP except MTP connection. I ill post in download area if someone wanted to test it

Forgot what MTP stands for, something about File Transfer (Media Transfer Protocol), so I thought writing on the microSD is broken
When will S03 be available to download? Is it still in testing mode now- available to testers only?

Update2 on TWRP bugs :

I have fixed reboot to recovery menu. MTP fix seems not good and clash with Reboot to recovery so at presently leaving it. I have talked with Ian and acknowledged him where is the issue as he is not having N20 with him, I m sure he will fix it in next version. N20 have SD card so it's not much issue. Reboot issue is more serious as it may throw error/or other issue if TWRP not corretcly rebooted.
I am pushing modified TWRP in zip.

Followed instructions for clean flash with Factory Reset from S01 to S03. All is working really smooth. Even able to still retain my TMO csc features for typing indicators and chat settings through SMS/MMS. Only thing left is getting SPay on the watch working, Safetynet passed when I first set it up but when I pushed my TMO CSC data I broke it I guess and have to figure that out. Nothing to do with the rom though all is good.

Edit: Reboot, cleared data on Pay and now its working on watch again.
