Hello, I was on Q08 in N975F, but later flashed CTG3 stock firmware from Odin. Like currently I am on stock firmware completely, and have no clue how to install TWRP using AP for CTG3 firmware. In the mediafire link, I could only find TWRP for CTE9. Any help over here?
There is one pdf file in download area for detail instructions, read it carefully

Have gone through this pdf,
Instructions_Root_TWRP_BootloopFix_V2. Here it says "Flash N97*_DrKetan_Root_TWRP_Kernel_Base*.tar.md5 you have extracted from download area with AP tab of Odin".
But in Mediafire link, I could only find "N975_DrKetan_Ian_TWRP_CTE9_Kernel_CTE9_July_extract_this" - This doesn't work as I have CTG3 Firmware
Not able to find the file mentioned in doc. Am i missing something here?
Thanks

I can't find the MultiDisabler in the download link

In the pdf file it says to download the .md5 file and the MultiDisabler file, but I can't find the MultiDisabler in the download link investigating I found this multidisabler-samsung-2.3.zip that works for me?

........................
Flash N97*_DrKetan_Root_TWRP_Kernel_Base*.tar.md5 you have extracted from download area with AP tab of Odin

Reboot device to Recovery (TWRP) select – allow modification and Flash MultiDisabler you have extracted from download area. Now select to Reboot to recovery (NOT SYSTEM) from Reboot menu
........................

Searching I found this file multidisabler-samsung-2.3.zip in this link

https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s10/samsung-galaxy-s10--s10--s10-5g-cross-device-development-exynos/g97xf-multi-disabler-encryption-t3919714/amp/[/url]

Can I use this file?

I could send the file again

Thank you dr

Important :
Due to the fact that some devices no longer uses ramdisk in boot images, Magisk has no choice but to be installed in the recovery partition. For these devices, you will have to boot to recovery every time if you want Magisk. Since both Magisk and recovery lives in the same partition, what you actually end up getting when you choose to boot to recovery will be determined by how long you press volume up.
  • (Powering up normally) → (System with NO Magisk)
  • (OEM Recovery Key Combo) → (Splash screen) → (Release all buttons) → (System with Magisk)
  • (OEM Recovery Key Combo) → (Splash screen) → (Keep pressing volume up) → (Actual recovery)
Is this information from the first post still valid?
Or is there now a further patch included, so there is no need to use the "OEM Recovery Key Combo" to get Magisk active?
I read something like this in the S20 root thread...

Hey guys,

I'm using a german Samsung Note 10+ (Exynos).

I want to root it. This is my first time rooting any phone, been Apple User before.

One question :

How to backup phone COMPLETELY before rooting it ?
So I can install e. g. LineageOS and easily restore my phone like I never wiped it?

Greetings from germany

You can't backup stock data as it is encrypted. Regarding system, simply flashing stock firmware will restore it back.
And remember one thing, you never returned to state "as it was" once you root. Knox once being tripped, can't back to normal.

Okay, thank you for your answer !

I wanted to flash a custom kernel and Rom - so I only want to have my Settings, Pictures, Apps, Music etc. back, like it was before.
System does not bother me.
That's what I meant.

Greetings

Edit : just pulled the sdcard to my mac and backed up all I could. Ready to root - but don't get hpw to do it tbh.

Somewhere in Europe
Dr. Ketan explains how to unlock Bootloader in the OP (first post of this thread) it is in Part 1 under B 'Unlocking The Bootloader'.
But, and please don't take this the wrong way, the only way to root any device is after lots of reading- you are risking your device if you proceed with only partial understanding. Sorry to say this but plenty of people have learned this the hard way.
