Just thought I'd ask. Titanium and other apps aren't acquiring root access. Tried after flashing the rom (version c). Then installed oc 4 kernel and tried again, no luck. Then wiped and reflashed again and still no go.

Just wondering if I've missed something?

I come from JQ3 with Overcome4 Kernel. Very nice rom, i like the dark theme! No FC with phone etc. till now, its fast and smooth! But quadrant score actually ~2000, with 1.3 GHz!

So I will do a clean install of this rom and switch to ext4, to get higher quadrant score. How can I test, I am on ext4?

Nope, i don't have a changelog between 2.3.3/5 and 2.3.6, much more differences from 2.3.3 and less from 2.3.5, meaning of stock roms though.

just copy version C rom then boot into recovery mode and install zip... camera and phone should be working fine now in version C. btw af, is there a changelog for what's new in 2.3.6 compared to 2.3.3/2.3.5? thanks for this rom

Mine and i suppose the other, is working fine, root is ok in version C.

Format system via CWM and install again.

Just because Quadrant sucks

Score depends a lot on which governor and scheduler you are using, for example, with my kernel :
Ondemandx and bfq i get 2208 @ 1.3 and 2400 @ 1.4

If you are coming from Overcome kernel you have already your partitons ext4 converted.

Have problems with wifi.
It turns of wifi after couple of minutes/hours and when returning to browser or other internet apps it does not turn on wifi.

No problems with overcome rom...

Any ideas?

you could check the wifi policy under settings, make sure it is set to never... afaik, wifi turns off automatically if the phone is on standby for a couple of minutes without any activities... i came from 2.3.5 official stock jq3 (rooted) then upgraded to version c and everything is running smooth so far... i am also using stock kernel...

got wifi prob since jq4 cause reboot after enable then jq8 wifi loop on and off

came from af974 previous version with his own kernel.. upgrade to this new version and everything works great... font resize, more theme, reboot options and many more...

Hello,
I did clean install formatting /system (just after flashing using ODIN to be sure).

Unfortunatelly DPI Changer did not work ("Unable to load configuration file"). Camera worked.

So I used LCD Resolution to change DPI to 180. This one worked fine, but camera stopped to working.

Any suggestion?

try 182 or184 in LCD changer.
Diferent rom but I experienced same issue.

Guys, it is all write in 1st post about avoid problems and it is also wrote that camera will never work under 182 dpi

I miss apps and can't unzip (error - unknown method in xxxxx.apk, I use WinRar) or recovery-install any of the attachements, except the rom - you posted here.

Go into reccovery and try to wipe battery stats.
