just sideloaded the 0119 build, but still the button in the update interface shows download and not 'refresh'... is it possible to get a fix so i can OTA update in future and avoid the (slightly) cumbersome sideload route?
I did a clean flash of the latest build today and see "Refresh" button as shown in the umage. Did you clean flash it?

Is there no feature for face recognition to unlock the phone in this OS, or is it removed in Android 12, because i dont see any option to unlock the phone using face recognition.

OOS portrait Camera module is still broken for me on this ROM. Although it is working on Gcam. On Gcam Slo motion videos module is broken. Hope this will be fixed soon. Except this issues it is a great ROM experience.
If you could adapt to font customisation will be an added cherry.
Can you tell me which version of gcam and what .xml are you using please, because I'm struggling find the perfect one.

I flashed KOSP via fastboot. But, I am unable to flash Magisk as it says that signature verification failed in PE recovery (default one that comes with KOSP).

So, I went to fastboot and tried this:

Code:
fastboot flash recovery PixelExperience_Plus_guacamoleb-11.0-20211216-1000-OFFICIAL.img
Sending 'recovery' (98304 KB) OKAY [ 2.203s]
Writing 'recovery' FAILED (remote: '(recovery_b) No such partition')
fastboot: error: Command failed

Apparently, it complains tht there is no recovery_b partition.

If I go to fastboot and boot to the PE recovery, like this, and tried adb sideload KOSP ROM, it complains that it's not for gaucomoleb or sth like that.

Code:
fastboot flash boot_a PixelExperience_Plus_guacamoleb-11.0-20211216-1000-OFFICIAL.img
Sending 'boot_a' (98304 KB) OKAY [ 2.435s]
Writing 'boot_a' OKAY [ 0.394s]
Finished. Total time: 4.582s

fastboot flash boot_b PixelExperience_Plus_guacamoleb-11.0-20211216-1000-OFFICIAL.img
Sending 'boot_b' (98304 KB) OKAY [ 2.300s]
Writing 'boot_b' OKAY [ 0.398s]
Finished. Total time: 4.490s

The Nebrassy twrp which you linked says it's for OnePlus 7 Pro but my device is OnePlus 7. Will it work?

How else can I update Magisk?

Btw, thank you for the info and appreciate it.

EDIT: Nevermind. I patched the boot.img and flashed it in fastboot and I am rooted now. All good.
Yes it works for all OnePlus 7 series

I created a modified "navbarswap.zip" Magisk module, based on the original one from user Tulsadiver, following instructions from this post:
Modified navbarswap Magisk module for OnePlus7
It simply swaps Back and Recent Apps buttons, putting Back on the right (where it should be, in my opinion).
It works perfectly on my Oneplus7 (guacamoleb).

I'm using OneSync Pro, an app which allows syncronization of files and folders between Android device and Onedrive cloud space.
I'm having a problem with files size, everytime the app downloads a file from cloud to device, if the file is bigger than 8MB it truncates it to 8MB. Customer support of the app says that they never heard of such a problem, and there must be a bug in my custom ROM. Is that possible? Anyone experienced something similar?

Issues found:
1. Android Auto is not working. No response when the phone is connected to the car. Nothing at all.
2. Do Not Disturb turns on periodically for no reason. Turned off all options when it might turn on (i.e., Bluetooth connection) but that's not stopping it from turning on whimsically.

Please fix!

Just use MSM tool to go on Stock Android 10 and for that you need a pc and a little knowledge and then local update to Stock Oxygen Os 11 Ota,its so easy

-> Do not approach us without any logs for reporting bugs
-> If it is a random reboot, grab everything from /sys/fs/pstore. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
-> Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

    Changelog

    Hi!

What a lovely ROM! Even though there are some bugs here and there, I'm using it as a daily driver as these bugs aren't crucial for my daily usage. But I would like to address what I've found so far in order to contribute to this fantastic ROM. Here are the bugs I've found (I have no logcat, but these bugs are more functional bugs which stays persistent, so others may be able to replicate them without too much hassle):

    • Automatic brightness: For me, the automatic brightness is not working. I can manually change the display brightness, but toggling auto display brightness does nothing. When calling someone, the proximity sensor won't deactivate the screen either. Maybe there is a relation between the non-working proximity sensor and light sensor?
    • Auto rotate: There is no auto rotate available, even though I am enabling it in the Settings menu. I downloaded an app (Gyroscope Test) saying that the gyroscope, magnetometer and accelerometer are non-detectable.
      Screenshot_20211230-083456_Gyroscope Test.png
    • Deep sleep: My device never enters deep sleep mode. I have attached a screenshot of what my device reports in "About Phone" in the Settings app. Deep sleep stays at 0% regardless of battery percentage (so I assume it never enters deep sleep).
      Screenshot_20211230-083623_Settings~2.jpg
    • There's a payment service in Norway called Coopay (available through the "Coop Medlem" app) which requires a secure PIN code and fingerprint / facial authentication, which it currently reports as unavailable on my phone. I do not know which lacking mechanism that triggers this message, I just wanted to let you now of this. I have been able to log in and register my cards in other payment services and banking apps (e.g. Google Pay), but haven't been able to try them yet.
      Screenshot_20211230-084155_Coop Medlem.png
    • Lockscreen UI: There's a small UI thing going on when entering PIN or pattern (as seen in the screenshot). When enabling fullscreen gestures (hiding the navbar pill and keyboard space), the UI sits at the very bottom of the screen. It may look better with some padding from the bottom edge. Again, this is not a crucial bug. I just wanted to mention it in case you find it relevant in this stage of development.
      Screenshot_20211230-084922_Nova7.png
I really like this ROM. It's a breath of fresh air from OxygenOS 11 (which I like anyway). Thank you for using your time to support us non-developing users who just like to personalize our phones to the max and have fun!
    2
Can anyone on this rom confirm that the DRM info Status is L1 or L3?
    It's L1 for me at least :)
    2
    Hi!
I've compiled the rom without gapps, it's up at the link below, but there's some caveats:
    • This is not official, as opposed to the filename, if anyone can point me where this flag is set, then I'll rebuild without it.
    • The intent filter verification service sometimes crashes for me, which makes launching any activity impossible and requiring a reboot. This only happened after a few days use, so ymmv.
    • There's no browser, so installing the first browser or store requires a computer to copy the apk or install it with adb.
    • No one will support this, neither Harish, as this is not an official build nor me, as I'm not experienced enough for it.
    Here's the build output: https://public.teml.in/Krypton-guacamole/

If anyone wants to reproduce, I followed the environment setup on Ubuntu from https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/guacamoleb/build with the repo from https://github.com/AOSP-Krypton/manifest/

KOSP is a small project based off AOSP and we intend to improve upon AOSP to provide a stable and better alternative to OEM roms with additional features.

    Features
There are some cool features, see for yourself :D
Truth is I'm just lazy to write a long list of features and we intend to focus on the stability rather than adding a ton of features.

    Gapps is included!

    What's broken?

    - WiFi Display on devices using MiraCast
    - You tell me!

    Bug reporting:
-> DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
-> Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
