It is American now because the custom rom is built with an American tell me client? See I won this phone at a WP party and because it's an unlocked euro phone it would reply back to me in an English accent and couldn't understand my American accents and maps were all messed up

Same here but honestly I don't care

I hope muuuch more coustom roms will follow and get better and better

If our Phones wouldn't get WP8, we can make them easier accessible for our phones, cause we have a working Hspl now

when I am trying to flash SPL on my AT&T Titan

I had this problem with my unbranded Titan X310e. Just solved installing the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center, that installs the HTC USB SYNC driver. It works for me and let me flash HSPL and FREEDOM ROM without more problems.
I hope it helps you.

"Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center" is for Windows Vista only. I am on Windows XP SP2. I have Zune and ActiveSync installed - still gives me
"ERROR [260] : CONNECTION"

Help with AT&T Titan

I am trying to install this rom on my ATT HTC Titan. I have got HSPL installed, I am stuck at trying to install 1750 Radio. Has anyone got this on their ATT Titan?

Just tried it. Invalid vendor ID. We need the gold card method and a y-cable. Where do I get a why cable?

Yes I used goldcard, the same method that I have always used (can't remember where I got it from) I tried flashing the new radio (failed) tried flashing custom rom (stuck at HTC Boot Screen).

Can some one please point me to all benefits of installing of this rom?
Is this basically means next:
custom ringtones tones;
homebrew aps like file explorer;
blue tooth file transfer;
install xap that can be used only devoloper unlocked phones?;
Custom tile colors etc..

the biggest benefit atm is that you will have a fully unlocked phone so you can deploy homebrew apps that require interop privileges.
examples of such apps are: jaxbot's folders, schap's advanced confiig tool, etc.
the rom is already packed with a file explorer, a registry editor and dft's bt file transfer app.

i cannot do it manually (via registry editor) either - the changes have no effect and they revert to default as soon as i hit the back button.

a question for the more knowledgeable people here - isn't a hard reset necessary after flashing the rom to clean any leftovers?
i hope not because i forgot to do it...

Try the accent changer xap from bazaar. It has predefined colours. For now it keeps me happy with the Nokia blue accent.
I know Android needs hard reset. Not sure if that stands TRUE for WP.
