Hi,
I am in India and have an unlocked t mobile 910T model... I backed up emei using the backup app... and installed another custom rom made for 910T.

Now phone is not detecting the signal and emei says null. I searched for the folder which gets created when emei is backed up using the app. I can not see it now.

Please suggest how can I fix this.

My phone model is SM-910H.But after installing custom ROM my phone model changed to SM-910C.(SM-910C can be flashed on SM-910H)
Now,I should make backup for which model ?
I m newbie.

This tool is just for backup. Also explained in OP you can use DD command as this tool makes backup in generic form.
Pro version have both options.

I have read that but I can't understand how to restore it by DD command.

i made the back up but cannot find the folder in which..INT SD?
this is ONLY for rooted users? i did not undertsand exactly..

and after back up..if you have IMEI NULL how can you recover the back up IMEI..also through this tool?

Okay, I got the pro version of imei tool for my note 4..
I did a backup in my internal drive and its had a big red FAILED, but its successful backup "buid.prop" into the drive as stated below statement..
(I even tried successful restored my note 4 as well)
Does this consider as a success backup even its have a failed?

Yes you need a rooted mobile as EFS is in the system files..

Can you attach build.prop here which is available in MyEFS folder ? Don't attach any other efs related file in case it is there

I have the same problem. I restored my efs using the app, and I've been in a boot loop ever since. Tried everything in this thread. How to restore efs with only recovery /download mode?

Hello Dr Ketan!
So My phone is sm n910K
I have a problem. I have a backup of my EFS made when I was on android 4.4.4., but then I accidentally flashed my device with firmware sm n910S. I lost imei, showed a nul/nul and missing network. Then I flashed 5.1.1 and imei became correct, but network doesnt still work. I Got Root through stockrider Kernel v2.0. Then I wanted to restore EFS, but the network does not appear after restarting the phone. Rollback to 4.4.4 does not work I installed the version of android BOJ05 which the rollback is blocked. what should I do??
P.S. sorry for my poor english

Hi Doc,

I bought Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910G from a local person. I do not know if the phone was rooted or downgraded before but I noticed the basedband/imei was unknown. I have downloaded 5.0.1 OS and flashed with ODIN but no luck. I read couple of forums and yours especially for EFS backup / restore. I rooted the phone with TWRP recovery and installed EFS Professional tool to backup and restore EFS but also no luck. I have been reading that in order to restore EFS folder, you supposedly had backed up this folder from earlier which is not the case for me. So now, I have this expensive phone which shows unknown baseband and null/null IMEI. What can I do now ? Is my phone is completely damaged?

Ok guys, i need help becz nobody helped me with this problem and nobody take it seriously, i install cm13 on my n910c and everything ok, after 2 builds i try to downgrade to another rom, to be spicific, sixperianc rom, it boot loop , i try every thing until i see a thread that say, install efs professional and backup efs and format it , i follow this thread and seccussfuly downgraded to sixpiroanc rom, but the thing is my imei lost and whene i try to restor it in to much apps and tools all give me a boot loop, so please if any one have a Solution please replay !!!
Btw cm13 is nice rom but not stable so i want to downgrade until stable build releassed.

exact same problem... No repair shop can help me where I am btw. That's like I'm talking some kind of alien language to them. Now I'm with my Note 4, imei null/null, no efs backup possible and no solution but to sell my phone on ebay for pieces. If someone knows something about a solution, not so expensive, please, contact me, I'm kind of desperate
