I've even tried reflashing both the bootloader as well as the modem. Without any problems. And still, after a few seconds, my phone reboots.

Is there any other way I can restore my EFS backup?
If you can manage another battery then try it. I have seen some such kind of behavior with faulty battery

You mean it's possible that the battery only affects the way my system behaves? It doesn't appear to be a problem in Recovery or Download mode..

But thanks for the tip - I'll try another battery if I can't get my phone running by tomorrow :)

Yeah I have seen cases where device unable to boot completely due to faulty battery still can flash using recovery /download mode.

Hm.
So I've just bought another battery, and the problem remains the same. Weird.

My EFS-backup folder looks like this - do you know how I'd have to configure it to be able to restore it with the PhilZ CWM I'm currently running?

I just done with n910c. It's well.
But how to restore my efs if my phone brick?
Best rg!
As far as I understand EFS holds information such as IMEI and MAC etc, so it should not in any way be responsible for bricking any device, if your EFS is compromised you should have problems with any type of network connectivity, but other then that your device should work just fine.

Find in one of three folder attach because I don't know which version are you using. Pro version add date in folder's name to easy restore.
