2.0 GB Micro SD issues

I've searched the forum to see if anyone else has reported this and couldn't find anything. My apologies if it's already out there.

My HTC TyTN running Custel_Cing_v1.3 will only let me put 1.2 GB on a 2.0 GB micro SC card. It reads the card as a 2 GB card and tells me I have 750+ MB remaining, but tells me the card is full if I try to add to it.

Any ideas for a fix? Thanks.

Yes that's right. There are some variables you can read up on.
1. 2gig cards are not in a sense, actually 2 gig cards see here:

2. It can also depend how you format the card - cluster size see here:
