I actually had a flash player installation backed up in Titanium that I had restored. I uninstalled that, just using regular old Uninstaller, and when I checked /system/app in root explorer, I didn't see any evidence of a flash install.

Then installed the modified version from Astro, made the "about:debug" changes mentioned, and we're up and running.

I'm not sure why, but maybe if you install the standard flash beta, uninstall it, then install the modified version that will work?
Interesting... mind sharing the flash apk you had in your titanium?

I'm banging my head against a wall here. I flashed Skyraider 2.2 w/ Sense & then tried to follow the instructions, but I can't find install_flash_player.apk anywhere - it's not in /system/app, or anywhere else.

I tried using find & also rebooted the phone & tried searching in Astro.

Can I skip that step?

No, thats kinda an important step. Try using installer. Downloaded it from the market, use that then go to the skyraider folder on your sd card. Should be right there. I've gotten this working on skyraider 2.2 as well as cm6 test 8. Both the browser and the hulu app work great.
Just remember, at least in my experience, you MUST uninstall any flash version you already have on there. Otherwise it won't work.

Actually up until version 2.2 you had to remove that file... he's now cleaned the file out of 2.2 so that step isn't needed anymore. I'll modify the directions.
