[20 FEB][MAG] HD2 CoreDroid GB 2.3.5 V3.7 & Froyo 1.8 [SENSE 3.5][FAST|SMOOTH]ONLINE!

is this rom for hd2. ?? i have tried installing this over 5 times and each time it says rom is completed and to reboot system, i select to reboot system and it freezes up. i then have to take out the battery and it loads back up to magdlr. what am i doing wrong?

What Rom are you flashing? With 3.7 have you tried flashing the 3.7 mod zip.... Which helps it boot?

since im new.. what is the difference between coredroid ONE-X Quad Core V3.6 and Coredroid HD2 V3.7 Sense 3.5? Im assuming that the ONE-X is for HTC ONE ? If it isnt for the ONE and it is for the HD2, then what am i doing wrong. And yes ive used the instructions which worked for the Coredroid hd2 v3.7 I am currently running coredroid hd2 v3.7 which i love. when i do install the coredroid ONE-X, it completes the installation all the way to where its on the white screen and says reboot system, but when i execute reboot system, it prompts me to press the finish button but i cant because the screen is frozen. I then have to take out the battery and when it reboots the phone, it sends me back to magdlr.

Lol... After you flash HD2 Sense 3.5 v3.7.... That is the latest for HD2 any other Rom will not boot... And the one you are flashing is actually for the One X.... Just Flash HD2 Sense 3.5 v3.7 with Tiger's instructions and you will be fine....

The OneX is labeled for the OneX and will never work for the HD2 unless it is ported.

The difference is the way the files are partitioned, as well as the size of the system. You will never want to install any rom that is not specifically made for the HD2. The HD2-based version installs a lot of its files to the SDcard, and the OneX is only on the phones internal memory.

ok..well thankx guys.. i was confused because the one-x thread is posted in the Hd forum. that is why i d/l it. i have the the lastest rom installed though.. Ive always stuck with this designer even when it was on windows phones...(tp2, titan) so im glad i flashed this rom ...

Not going to work. It takes a lot more than adding to a zip. You have to edit tons of smali

Wait. So how shall I edit the build.prop for it to work on the HD2. Or is it just too much? Honestly just want to know because I don't have the phone anymore but I still update it. So I thought that the Suites would be a nice addition.

Before I go in too deep, which suites are you referring to? The advanced tweaks from the dhd and inspire? Or the coredroid suites package that's also at the play store?

You should check out Lozone's mods for the One S. He's doing everything he can to 'CoreDroidize' the phone.

He has a thread over in the Mods forum for the One Stop.

Didn't know you sold yours.....if my phone was actually easy to work with, it's probably not too hard to get ICS Sense 4a in there...there has been some stuff out there already that is workable.

Well sbryan had something going but the community showed its slow side and kept bugging for a working eta and even a EU version when it wouldn't even operate for Tmobile yet.. so he stopped it. And had the thread locked. That's when I figured it was time to hang up the device.
