it seems to be the same NULL pointer as phoenix was experiencing during his tests.

can you provide more info about your configuration?
-chosen installation parameters
-partitions info
-have you used wipe in installation?
-do you have EXT4?
-do you have dataonext or other?

I can't realy tell You which instalation parameters were chosen :/. I just don't remember what parameters were there to choose from.
- Partitions as shown in Freespace: system 100MB, Ext: 304MB, Data: 2157MB.
- I can't remember if I have chosen wipe, but always before installing any rom i'm doing full format except sd card.
- Yes, I have 4Ext recovery with Ext4 partition on SD Card. I have 64GB sandisk card.
- I think I'm using AD2SDX because DATAOnExt didn't work for me. We talked about it in Your thread with 3.62 Eclipse
- Also, Zram is probably enabled because I can see Swap 128MB when i type "free" in terminal emulator

I you have any further questions, please ask and I will try to answer them the best I can.

Btw, I was using Tapatalk when this restart occurred.

it seems a nice way to go then...perhaps DataOnEXT can finally be the true native android experience when transformed to DataOnNILFS :p
I aim to make really near-native android ROM but DataOnEXT which is the closest to it as of now has problems with some SD cards...so I can't experiment with it much until bugs are fixed...

EDIT: now cherry-picking some stuff... ;)

EDIT 2: @boxmax: can you point me to CWM-compatible version of mkfs.nilfs2 binary? (so that we can upgrade ext4 to nilfs2 without need of TWRP JB extended recovery)
(take this a pre-condition for nilfs2 support in my kernel otherwise the is no need to implement it when you can't format partition to it :p)

Re: [15 Feb 2013] [KERNEL] Eclipse Kernel 1.1 BETA =LEGENDARY= [ONLINE]

Also nativesd uses different installation method so my package will not work with nativesd out of the box...

@boxmax: let's have a talk about that. I will send you PM when I have more time.

It seems 35 kernels on NativeSD can only boot using magldr (not wm6.5 haret see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33009353&postcount=149 and marc1706's reply) and only when using marco.palumbi/securecrt edited initrd.gz, its the same with ACA 35 kernel.
Best of luck with this guys:fingers-crossed:

Sorry if I repeat something which has already been posted.

Your kernel works great, especially with your own sense build, it seems a tad smoother, but the battery drain with WiFi on is much higher than without.

Normally I have a battery drain about -6ma if WiFi is turned on (I don´t have that great service at home, so i have WiFi turned on all the time) I have battery drain around -20ma to -30ma.

well, i think it is the alternate wifi driver i am using so that native wifi hotspot can work too.

so battery drain should be the same as on gbleo kernel. right?

I never used the gbleo kernel, since i never needed wifi hotspot (and with marc´s kernel the WiFiTether.apk works, i tested that once).

Are You sure for working combination WiFiTether.apk and Mark's kernel ? I personally tested every Mark's kernel and never got tethering working!

YHi Gecata
Yes with Marc kernel, wifi tethering works good. But you need apps from market.

    Eclipse Kernel 1.2

    OK, I gave up!
Since WiFi Tether is Open Source, I have forked the repository and altered its default configuration to work on HTC HD2 by default.

So I proudly give you new version of my kernel with nice AROMA installer.

    Happy flashing!

    Next steps:
    • create intelligent ZRAM installer
    • update Sense of Eclipse ROM
    • try to port faux123's audio driver enhancement
    • take a look at Sense 4 on HD2 ;)
    11
I think I wil soon fix the high CPU load. keep fingers crossed ;)
then I will release version 1.4 as last version of 2.6 kernel and will focuse on 3.x for sense 5
    8
The high battery drain in standby with Wifi was the reason why I didn't choose to keep the bcm4329_204 driver enabled. As you might remember, I had it enabled in my 0.1.6 version of my sense kernel. Unfortunately the battery drain is always around 25 - 35 mA in standby.
When it comes to lower battery consumption vs. native support of HTC's own apps I'll always choose the lower battery consumption. ;)

    Eclipse Kernel 1.2 BETA Test

    Hey guys, what's up!

I am about to upload new version. I am promoting 1.1 to stable version and 1.2 will be BETA since it includes experimental AROMA installer for configuring WiFi tethering.

I want one tester for each storage mode available on HD2 (compatible modes will be grouped together),
    namely (extracted form aroma-config):
    Code:
      "[B]AD2SDX Compatible[/B]", "Use /sd-ext/app and /sd-ext/data/data", 1,
      "[B]CronMod A2SD+ Compatible[/B]", "Use /sd-ext/app and /data/data", 0,
      "[B]DataOnEXT Compatible[/B]", "Use /sd-ext/app and /sd-ext/data", 0,
      "[B]NAND Compatible[/B]", "Use /data/app and /data/data", 0
I will post change log later with release, meanwhile you can look at my GitHub (it is there for a while now, since kernel itself was prepared quite long ago...
