I recently purchased the 2000mah extended battery (for the international model of the S2) but I'm getting boot loop. I started with Shostock 3 then flashed to SuperNexus 2.0 M1, and now I'm on Slim Bean. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

Here is my phone info:
SGH-I777
Android version 4.2.2
Baseband version I777UCLL6
Kernel version 3.0.31-CM-ga034655 [email protected] #17
Slim version Slim-4.2.2.build.6-OFFICIAL
Build number JDQ39E

Thanks.

Where did you get your battery? Does the regular back cover work for you?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone of you used one of these
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Andida-High..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item3f22851ef3
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Floureon-Ba..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item2ec9804681
How good is the battery life compared to original, and do they fit under slim cover.
I'd like too know too (about Floureon), Andida pricing can't be right... $90 for a freakin battery??!?!

There's also this one I'm wondering about that says it fits the i777 and is cheap as heck http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2200MAH-LI-ION-RECHARGEABLE-BATTERY-FOR-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S2-II-I777-ATTAIN-/390616725317?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item5af2923745

I've been watching that for like two weeks and a ton of people are buying them daily, I'll get notifications of 26 people bought in the last 24 hours, 18 people, 35 people etc.

Just ordered the 2200 attain. Will let you know how it works.
Awesome, let us know. I emailed the seller but didn't hear back. They've got a ton of positive reviews (and bunch of negative for other products but then again it appears they sell in massive volume so statistically that's gonna happen). Appears to be a bunch of people buying these batteries too as I get that Ebay pop up saying X amount of people have bought this in the last 24 hours.

I think my i777 battery is dying, it doesn't last as long as it used to, I used to get 3 1/2 - 4 hours on screen time, now it's more like an hour and a half - 2 if I'm lucky and using the phone through the day or streaming it depletes way faster. Guess these phones have crap batteries as I've know other owners who after about 2 years or less said the battery went to hell lol. I've got an old ass 3GS that still last as long as it did originally lol.

Looking around for a new battery; yurkinator, did you receive the Attain and is it as advertised? I have the same questions surf1 has, but this deal looks almost too good to be true so would appreciate any feedback you have on it.

Ok I have been using the battery for a few days and do not see any noticeable improvement. I normally use the 1900 mAh maker and there is no real difference.
Thanks for posting back, I'm still using the stock 1650mah battery. How much of a difference did you see with the 1900 over the stock one? I'm pry gonna order it anyway since this battery is dying and nowhere near as good as it used to be.

I'm in the same boat, regarding this old 1650. I ordered one of the Attain's and they processed it and shipped it same day, so I should have it tomorrow or Saturday!

Even if it's not much better than the 1900 yurkinator uses, it's still better than our aging stock battery.

Yeh I just ordered as well, either way still way cheaper then a Samsung brand stock battery or otherwise. Samsung shipped pos batteries in these phones. Few other i777 owners I know have the same trouble only 1-2 years old and plenty of post on these boards about it. I can barely get 1 1/2 hour on screen time now and that started about 2-3 months ago and I got this phone new so not even 2 years old yet (Nov will be), on ShoStock2 and 3 rom used to get at least 3 1/2 hours on screen time, but even now just streaming music or anything drains faster then used to.

Yet somehow our iPhone 4 and old ass 3GS get the same exact battery life as they did new, and that 3GS is like what 4 or 5 years old?

does this attain battery need a replacement back cover to accommodate it or is it the same size as the stock battery?
Pretty sure it's the same size as stock, but will know further once it arrives. If yurkinator's around he could answer definitively.
