On a greedy performance trip.

If this was a service it would sure beat the regular HTC Volume control.

Like the Lay out but i like it more on the right side ;).

Good job, i can see HTC steeling the idea to stop making it Full screen by default and adding the extra functions to theirs.

It has to do with the amount of executables that can run in Windows Mobile/CE.

By running it as a service you leave more slots open for executables.
(I believe 32 executables can be run at the same time, not sure if this changed in 6.5.x)

As the apps need to be active all the time anyway to capture the Keys.

I'm not aware if a service also has some performance and memory use profits to it.

I only know that when HTC switched their enlarged Start menu to a service it did get faster reaction and loading, but that could also be because of actual improvement in the app :(

At the moment I don't know how to change the in call volume. Yesterday I tried to get it for several hours but it didn't work. If someone knows the answer, please tell me :)
MarcLandis was able to hook his volume control hook into in-call volume. You could ask him how he accomplished it. His thread is HERE. Looking forward to your next release.

Hi,
this application looks very interesting, keep up the good work. Unfortunately I already have an application running which hooks the keys on my XPeria, are you able to ad .lnk files for volume up and volume down, so that the key hook applikation can handle with those .lnk files instead your application? Thanks I would really love to see your application in my roms.

not sure of you found ur ans or what you mean, look at these reg closely

Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\ShellOverrides]
"SavedInCallVolume"=dword:66666666
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall]
...
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall1]
....
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall2]
...
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall3]
....
there are several more but if you wish to change ur vol level i think these are enough

+ 1 on going service mode,,, lot better than exe.

+1 Same request. Furthermore, Is it possible to add a setting so that the window can appear or not when using the volume keys?

Hello Pochofiesta, not working in my TD2, your exe does not change the phone profiles

I think it will be better if you only change the the screen to yours when pressing the vol up/down.

¿Is it possible?

thanks
