First beta is amazing!! Will definitely use as daily driver!

Bugs I've noticed:
1 Snapchat can't use camera, everything is green.
2. Can't soft press (capacitive) home button
3. NFC doesn't work (just confirming)
4. Bluetooth kind of works, could connect to another phone but couldn't find speaker.
5. Small things such as missing options in menus (notifications light options, lte/3g/2g maybe more)

Everything else I have tried is working, really really really great job!!

Already an update, that's great! Could see from github that d2tw is fixed and hopefully snapchat (some HAL update). Will install later and report back.

So impressed by the dev (is it you @coderstory?)

I'd like that, will give an alternative to the ResurrectionRemix build. No pressure
Would you be doing nightly builds, and how would you be hosting?

I'm building with the CM source from Github, as described on my Blog.
For now the hosting is fine on my own server: https://store.shade.sh/mi5/

In miui 7 vibration intensity setting is (temporary) disabled due to too strong vibration, so I read elsewhere. As a result the vibration intensity is very very week and I can't increase it.
Question: how is the vibration intensity in CM13? And can you increase it?
Vibration strength is pretty strong by default in this rom (too strong for my liking). Did not find any setting to change this, though. I installed Xposed and "All my... mods" module to turn down the vibration strength.

---------- Post added at 09:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:22 PM ----------

For the sake of experiment/review I tried this current version of CM13 for Mi5.

Coming from MIUI 7.3.3.0, which in my opinion is currently the snappiest and best rom battery consumption wise (6 hours of SOT easy), I must say that there’s long road ahead although it’s still early to express final judgments yet ;). I guess it’s for hardcore CM fans, but besides the multi-window mode I see no reason to use it over the mentioned xiaomi.eu rom, especially since key features (at least for me) that are available on stable/developer version -> (1) double tap to wake and (2) tap home button to get back to home screen, are not working/present here. DT2W worked only after one of the reboots, but just once. After that, it did not work.

I don’t care for the mentioned bugs understanding the stage its development is, except maybe for the slow auto-brightness, which is a annoying, but will be definitely fixed soon enough, but I simply do not find this ROM to be any snappier/faster/smoother than MIUI 7.3.3.0. I actually feel that response time is a tad slow in this ROM in comparison to latest stable version. Considering this beta stage I was ready to cope with the bugs and all, but that response time kind of surprised me, since always/with all my android phones transition to CyanogenMod roms was always greeted with superior speed in comparison to whatever ROM I came from.
Well, my 2 cents worth of thoughts:
I was on the xiaomi.eu ROM before this godsend cm13 surfaced. Switched over and hooked.
What's so much better about this cm13 compared to miui?
    1. Better multi-tasking and more available RAM.
    2. One-finger swipe down to expand notifications in lockscreen/notification bar, as against 2-finger swipe in miui notification bar and no expandable notifications in lockscreen.
    3. The aosp marshmallow permissions manager is much more robust than the dodgy "Permissions" in miui7.
    4. And Xposed is an awesome addon (though it seems for mm, support is still barebones). WSM Tools for miui7 isn't available yet, though xposed kinda works.
    5. I also didn't like the default Miui7's Battery Optimization. Kept missing whatsapp messages, would get flooded by notifications after turning on the screen, etc. If i turned off Battery Optimization in miui, however, the battery life wasn't so great. Best balance was to omit some apps from optimization. Cm13 experience has been far more fluid for me. Haven't needed to mess with these settings yet (except disabling whatsapp from optimization, to be on the safe side). Battery life has been pretty great in the last 3 days.
Cheers to the dev who made this cm13 build happen. I'm satisfied already. (i don't use snapchat, and I actually like pressing the home button - taps happen by mistake waaay too often for me).
