Is it possible to randomize it with memuc ? Or you need to enter a number by hand each time ?

Anyone has issues with xposed on Android 5 instances ? When i try to install it, it gives a error "no space left on disk"

XPosed framework needs ~14 MB free disk space in 5.1.1 Android's partition /system which by default is of 512 MB fixed size ( 0 MB free ), means you can't manually expand it. Hence try to convert as many system apps and/or system privileged apps as possible to user apps until the 14 MB got available. You may achieve this using Link2SD app. Good luck.

I do have the problem with 59% stuck, searched thread and did follow https://www.memuplay.com/blog/how-to-recover-memu-vm.html, (storage existent and in order, uuid 's same). It does start up, but seems /system can't be found. So ... is it a problem with the android image?

I did use https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=79099944&postcount=5419 as the only one online i've found. This one f.e. offline.

So ... except someone has an idea why this image wont work (btw. original 5.1.1 works fine), can someone provide a working 7.1.2 ova?
Or would a more manual approach be a better way? Android #1 - Android #2 - Guide

Quick question; well aware as of 2018 installing a custom rom was not possible (lack of recovery partition or similar - noticed i can not do adb reboot bootloader or adb reboot recovery). Any change / way / trick / workaround in 2020?
I would like to flash a stock rom.

It is still not possible and will never be possible because MEmu is an emulator.

Note that you have to use MEmu App Player to run a MEmu instance, not the MEmuHyperv tool, as you tried.

Also note that MEmuHyperv tool only gives you access to MEmu instance's Android shell - the underlying Linux part - so you may run any shell command available, e.g.

@jwoegerbauer thanks, but that does not help. As I wrote it get's stuck at the known 59%, which sadly can have multiple reasons (and that percentage you get using the Memu player).
I did use MEmuHyperv soley for troubleshooting as ... you actually did point out once.
Also /system should be accessible as with 5.1.1 (see attached), but as you can see in prev. screenshots it can't mount those partitions.
And I never get to a stage where I can do inputs myself with linked android 7 ova.

It does boot fast till /dev/hw_random not found line, then slows down ... till can't find '/system/bin/sh', till it halts at kernel panic.

what requires Telnet Client - the command-line tool that executes telnet commands in Windows - is present & enabled.

I also tried it. When connected via telnet there is a black screen with no info and text input doesn't work

A MEmu instance, as all other Android emulators too, has an emulated SIM-card integrated.

FYI: SMS/MMS are stored in

Android versions prior 7.0
/data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/database/mmssms.db

Android versions 7.0 and above
/data/user_de/0/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db

This SQLite database is not in a readable format, you need to view it with an SQLite viewer.

    [TOOL] Free up PC's RAM and then launch MEmu App Player

    On low-memory Windows machines (Vista and later) it might be useful to regain RAM as much as possible before launching MEmu App Player.

    Wrote a small Windows Command script that reads as below

    It is whole installer. There are some different from small installer. Some of the prompts were in Chinese, but the button text was English. So you don't worry.
