This might seem like a silly question, but I had a hard time searching and finding the answer, what exactly does the xposed module do/why would one use it over flashing the official zip? Or did this come up because of unofficial?

So correct me if I'm wrong here: the advantage of systemless Xposed over official is the ease to which it can be disabled? That you can disable the Magisk module and reboot rather than taking the time to go into recovery and flash the Xposed uninstaller? Or will official Xposed straight-up fail to work if you're using a systemless root solution?

Yeah, we can enable it via Magisk Manager app, and by this way, you willn't have an SafetyNet false state.
Of course you can just flash the zip via TWRP and reboot and POUF you will just have to enable your modules but this way edit the system partition.

According to that, for certains apps like Greenify (as exemple), you could have the Greenify main features with systemless optimizations with xposed features.

Its the same for others apps and Frameworks.

Magisk open a door of possibilities and optimizations.
XPosed open an other door of possibilities, optimizations and you keep all system base optimizations like ART for exemple.

I would appreciate if you would share that as well, I tried making one but it wouldn't install correctly and wasn't active.
What does it complex in download the existing zip made by topjhonwu, check upgrade-binary file, replace files according CPU archs, edit the module.prop and config.sh file if you want and build again a simple zip file ?

And then frankly wait a day or two, is that so serious doctor SCrid? ;)

For s8 in nougat 7.0, what zip can i download ?

Thanks
As rovo have say, if you are on 7.0, take the SDK24, you need also to know your CPU arch, i think its an arm64, but check that with an app (play store). If you flash the wrong zip, the flash process will automaticaly failed.

I installed the modile and the new xposed apk and according to the xposed installer the framework is installed correctly but greenify and amplify don't works, is this normal?

Even though Xposed itself has been updated, the individual modules also have to be updated to be working in the new Android versions. So yes it is normal.

    Updates!
I slightly updated the scripts to work with the changes in Magisk v16.4.
As you know currently I have very limited free time, I can't test everything before I went back to the military camp, that's why the latest Magisk releases are always dubbed "beta", and fixes will always take a week before I can finally touch my computer.
    Hope you can understand :)

    Systemless Xposed Update!!
Here comes the long awaited Oreo Xposed thanks to rovo89. I'm glad to see Xposed running on my Pixel XL on the latest version of Android :)
All previous versions are also updated to use the newer templates for better support on Magisk v15+.

BTW, the fact that the source code for v90 are not out yet I can still release systemless versions again proven that I do not recompile the binaries, all binaries are repackaged from the original sources.
So if you face any issues, do not complain here :)
