Hi all, I have a small question. I have tried to set selinux to permissive using selinux mode changer, but I get an error message "can't reach selinux looks that you don't have selinux or it is disabled". Looking in about phone selinux is not disabled, it's set to enforcing. Anyone succeeded in changing selinux state using stock kernel?
Thanks
i dont know but if u r interested, yesterday i flashed kernel AGNI 4.4.5 (permissive) with TWRP 2.8.7.0 on this ROM and the result is amazing...

Thanks, I know Agni is a great kernel. I wanted to stay with stock kernel because Dr ketan music fix should work only with it and I hate music stuttering when screen is off.

I apply music fix with Dr. Ketan Utilities every time i turn off/restart the device, music never stuttered with screen off with min frequency at 200mhz, but maybe im very lucky......

Why do you apply it every reboot? It shouldn't be necessary.
Anyway thanks for your help, maybe I'm going to try Agni kernel ;)

You r right, it shouldnt be necessaty but I read a lot of times ago a post, i think in dr ketan's utility treah (or patch music thread, if i remember well). Someone tells to apply fix at every reboot with non stock kernels. If u hear lot of music with screen off, and wanna try this amazing rom with agni kernel and fix doesnt work, u can also try set min cpu higher, with a little uv to save battery, also in stand by mode to solve stuttering. I think my device dont stutter because i have greenify(pay exposed module with gcm)+amplify and very light configured apps, so device can use cpu for music with screen off.

I had music stuttering until I turned off the ad free option in Ketan utilities. You can download adAway and use it instead. There is a previous post in this thread concerning that. I was on the Agni kernel for a few months but abandoned it as battery life is much better with the stock kernel. Agni is an amazing kernel with great options but battery life was important to me. I get around 30 - 48 hours now with the stock kernel with moderate to heavy use.

I have tried many different roms for this phone, but this one has proven to be the best with the greatest features and options and stability. I sure hope that there will be a release for Android lollipop from Dr. Ketan!

I just flashed v14 ROM for the first time on my n7100. It works decent until now. The only bug (maybe it's not) that I found is the 2 touch buttons keep flashing up randomly. Also the icon for torch, on the drop-down menu in status bar drop-down thingy resembles the speaker, and not the torch.

Most importantly, I need the old S Note badly. I managed to install it, via recovery zip flash, and the core app works, but some features don't. For instance, I can't use the S Pen to press the button and encircle something and take it as a partial snapshot to clipboard. Also, I can't make a screenshot in the old way by pressing the S Pen button and touching the display at the same time. In both instances I get "Unfortunately, com.sec.android.app.SmartClipService has stopped".
Is there a way to fix this?
