I am having issues with an app's access to the SD card (Piktures gallery). It asks for access when you try to delete or move a picture (all stored on the SD) but when the file explorer shows up to select the root of the SD, nothing is there including the internal storage. This problem only seems to have started after flashing this ROM. I have tried the SD card fix but it still does it. Any ideas?

It always amazes me how great your work was and how much you had done for the Note 2 every time I go in circles trying all kinds of different ROMs only to return to this one. The only ROM that is truly rock solid and retains all the excellent qualities. I have found over the years that all the bugs and problems that I have had with your ROM are striclty down to the apps that I end up installing or adding rather than the ROM itself. Currently the good old Dr Ketan's V14 + 400 apps with not a single FC and a battery lasting more than a day. Your expertise here never ceases to amaze.

There is a way to have the FSCID on 240DPI? I mean the zip to flash in recovery, if it is not a major issue for you, because I have only the 320DPI version, and it is not pleasant to the view.

i believe there were some changes of the bootloader or something since then ?
does anyone know what i have to flash in order to install a newer rom like this one ?
some stock samsung rom or bootloader zip or what?

which is your current bootloader? if it is MJ5 or newer you'll be fine and can flash rom right away.

You are good to go as you have kitkat bootloader already, so don't mess around with bootloader :good:

Flashed this rom into my Galaxy note II a few days back and I notice that the battery drain is insane compared to my previous rom even if I am not using the phone.
Any workarounds?

I flashed the latest version of this ROM recently and I am unable to connect to Bluetooth Audio for music or for calls. When I try to tick 'Call Audio' or 'Media Audio' for the paired BT device in its profile, the checkbox does not check. Can I do something regarding this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to recovery. Make sure system is mounted and flash this fix.

Few weeks into using N7100 NI1 DrKetan Custom ROM V14, I have ran into a problem. Once or twice a day, my phone obviously gets stuck in standby mode. It's on, but it won't wake up. The blue LED sometimes blinks. I think it's due to notifications. Rarely, it will wake up after some time, but usually when I can't get it up instantly, it needs a restart. First I thought that this could be SDS, as my emmc chip is INSANE, but I ran the test app multiple times, and each time it passes fine. So maybe it's not dying, maybe it's something else. Any advices?

ChangeLog V13 & V14

V13 and V14 are same ROM except V14 is fixed for SystemUI FC when V13 users selecting transparent notification panel mod. If you are already on V13 then no needs to re download complete V14 ROM but can fix SystemUI FC (Happens only if you selected Transparent notification panel mod) by flashing small zip from here

1.Floating msg app missing some option-fixed
2.Action memo have issue to not shown phone icon when you capture something from right side -fixed
3.work out done for long standing CSC feature incompatibility with wanam module. I have fixed smali level and now wanam xposed module CSC feature won't interfere with new other CSC feature
4.Floating msg stopped working issue fixed, no more activation requires.
5.3minit mod setting apk updated
6.Keyboard double space issue fixed.[
7.Ad free is to OFF by default, You can enable from Dr.Ketan Utility - Toggles


some tips for v14
-Torch Toggle start working after system loads7completely. So if it takes time to on just after boot, keep patience. Once system boot Complete it takes no time to on/off
-CSC features from wanam may not work, use csc features app from drawer / from aroma for csc features. Any csc features missing from wanam module let me know I will add it.
-there are two mods for no increase ring tone mod in aroma and both under mod section extra mod. Use later one (for S5 phone one) first option will do nothing (sorry for inconvenience)
