Not sure if this of value of anyone. I root these for my own device and though I would share in case its of value to someone else.

My steps to create:
1. Sony PC Companion to download update for my device/region
2. Flashtool to decrypt
3. Flashtool to build ftf with all 3 .ta portions removed
4. PRFCreator to root and zip

I have flashed this image onto my spg512 with TWRP with no issue.

I just went through this ordeal. There is a lollipop version of dual recovery here . You need to flash the flashable version of it through recovery and it will give you write access. You are probably using a Kit Kat version of dual recovery that doesn't disable lollipop simlock.

You want 2.8.22 zip file. Flash in recovery. Done.

I have sgp512 with 23.4.1.200 how to install this rom, usually I flash with FTF file but the first time I got image with lot of .sin files how to do please sorry for my noob question
mine isnt rooted, I know how to flash .zip under recovery menu but I cant find how to root mine

Not sure what version of firmware you are on, but you might need to downgrade to an older version, run NUTs or another method to flash a new recovery. I went back to a 17.x version and skipped all the setups at firstboot, enabled Developer tools,then USB debugging, allow apps to be installed, and all that nonsense, then I ran locked recovery install.bat.
