Could someone please instruct on using this with clk? I still prefer the speed of froyo vs gingerbread miui. Whenever I flash this rom in CWM on clk I always get the suspend message.

no I'm still om froyo cos I don't like that bugie ginger releases ;-)
untill all works on GB like it should I stay on froyo.
That's why Jan haven't released GB MIUI yet cos its have some issues.
But as u can see there is so many MIUI threads all over xda for last days what serving ginger miui.
Now I see the most people don't care about bugs free or good working ROMs.everybody just want Gingerbread for uknown reason.but if u ask them why they probably don't know or maybe they say because its new.
Weird cos for me its more important stability and functionality than to have something new even if I know its not good.
;-)

And you have ginger miui?

Hi,
Some MIUI issue can't be fixed by Cooker, it depend on MIUI China team.
If you remember, Froyo MIUI need 3-4 months for stable and Ginger MIUI only release on 2-3 weeks and better after 1 week.
So which version is used depend on you. But I think if everyone only wait, don't try new version, try find better, there is no developing
Thanks

I wasn't talking about developers and beta testers m8,
I was talking about the simple end users. Cos most of that people can not help with developing, they just want to use a product. So if u release a rom with issues and u can't fix it than u have your thread full of endless complains over and over.
You can have a 100 posts about same problem and u can't blame the people cos they just want it done and working. So thats the problem with ginger miui for end users. U can't help them. Its all in miui developing team hands or any other developer good enough to find the solution for this.
So I never said to anyone to NOT use it, it was my opinion. I just mention its not bug free and have some main issues. Thats all

Hello,
I have problems with my 3g connection on my android (all versions).
After a while when i use my wifi-connection at home and i want to go on the internet with my 3g connection it doesn't work anymore.
They said that i must go back to Windows Mobile 6.5 there works everything good with the 3g connection.
Is there a solution for android?

    Flash this layout in clockworkmod.
By modifying the flash.cfg file in notepad.

For clockwork mod 1.3 you need this flash.cfg
    misc ya 1M
    recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize recovery-raw.img
    boot yboot|ro 8M
    system ya 120M
    cache ya 30M
    userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

    For older clockworkmod:
    misc ya 1M
    recovery ya|ro 5M
    boot ya|boot|ro 8M
    system ya 120M
    cache ya 30M
    userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

    Little FAQ

Q: Can you add extra languages
A: No only the languages that xj makes avaible will be here.

    Q: Support for CLK?
    A: Yeah it should have.

    Q: I have a slow GPS lock/ no lock
A: Use GPS status & toolbox from market an download a-gps data
also use the build-in fasterfix app to set NTP server.
Also remember that first lock takes sometime.

    Optional: DATA.img/Apps2sd explination
    Flash this:

    Download

After that your done and you have the following options:

    To enable Apps2sd

Just make any EXT partition and phone will auto detect the situation and move apps that support it to the sdcard.

To enable external data.img (default 512 MB)
    1. create '.data' folde under sdcard (/sdcard/.data).
    2. create 'config.txt' under '.data' directory.
    3. copy old data.img to '.data' directory, otherwise a new data.img will be created.
    4. If you want any 1024 mb instead of 512 add data_size=1024 to config.txt
    5. boot into Android.
    Config.txt for data2SD:

    data_img=1
    data_ext=0
    sd_boost=0
    nand_data=0

    To config PPP/RMNET and GPS_ZONE

When not using data.img or ext4
    1. To switch to RMNET delete the PPP folder (in system/etc)
    2. To set GPS zone use fasterfix you can also use this with the data.img/app2sd init.

For the rest I recommend using gps status & toolbox to download a-gps data since it is a kernel problem.
First fix takes long as always...
    When using data.img or apps2sd
Or just create a empty config.txt file in /sdcard/.data
Add this to the config.txt file for ext4/data img:
ppp_mode=0 will enable the rmnet. 1 Will let it stay on ppp.
gps_zone='your country code', - country code, us, fr, jp, etc
    or use fasterfix
    3
    Kernel 8.3 patch;)

edit: added link also to first post
    2
    smooth and clean
let it be noted that it does have spare parts, dspmanager, and superuser

but thats it.... i think i may have a new rom :D

They are so small about 150 kb so no need to remove them.
Btw I forgot to say that it has about 4 tones included. They are serious and modern hope you like them.
