It depends on the degree of blur as well as location. A small amount blurring near the outside edges is normal. The less blur near the center region the better. It can also vary between lens of the same model. However most lens including ones the cost thousand$ have varying degrees of blur across the lense. The degree of blur matters. Some small amount of blur is always present.
No one has published the measured degree of blur on S23U lense/cam that I know of. This just makes it harder for you the end user to make an informed decision.

What all the above means is Samsung is likely being less than honest to what's going on here. Typical Samsung bsing like a little kid rather than correctly explaining the blur difference between lens or stating their blur specs and tolerances. Samsung's QC doesn't seem very tight anymore. This is another indication of this.
I'm not impressed by Samsung's upper management; to be blunt, it sucks. You know what that means if true... nothing good.
Oh, I think we're talking about different topics here. You are probably referring to the banana shape issue in S23(+) camera, which is obviously an issue. Someone came to a service center in Vietnam and get a reply from the technician, telling him that replacing the camera or updating software did not solve the issue.

What I am talking about is the small wrinkle of the display panel in the bottom right corner of S23U, which is unrelated to the banana shape blur issue of S23(+).

My bad. I had forgotten about that one. Samsung was evasive about the defect as well.
The display should be perfect especially at this price point. Haven't seen this in person so it's hard to be sure exactly what it looks like.
Your call.
For the money in many ways the N10+ is a more capable phone and the build quality on the Snapdragon variant is excellent. That's my thought and is in line with what I want the phone's mission to be.

At this point I don't trust anything upper level Samsung management claims. They earned that distrust by multiple examples of disinformation and absurd rationalizations for their poor decisions. The full extent of the issues with the newest Samsung releases will take about a year to fully settle out and be realized.

mine doesn`t, but I have had 2 other S23 Ultras and they did, I just received my Lime 512gb Yesterday straight from Samsung, and it`s a newer build date than my other ones, since it was already had May update installed and the serial number shows it was manufactured last month.

My 512GB Graphite arrived yesterday. No flaw in the screen that I can see.

Lable on the box says "Made in Vietnam". EMEIChack says "Production Location: Korea SEC on 25-05-2023".

Which to believe?

You have the option to return it. What's the problem. It's a bunch of entitled brats looking to nitpick. Return your device and get your money back. It's that simple.
Blackhawk has not had a Samsung flagship phone since the S10+ which is now on quarterly updates and by end of 2023 it will be on bi-annual updates and will never get any future android versions. By 2024 it will be obsolete and worthless from a security and software stand point But he loves the thing so much that nobody else is allowed the satisfaction of enjoying a newer model

He just reads Samsung this, Samsung that and reposts it here. It's not based on any actual hands on experience with an actual phone in hand. He has been bashing every Samsung phone since the S20 series released in 2020.

I found nothing disrespectable about the comment. What I do find disrespectable is a certain individual that constantly runs down everything not an N10+. I also find it concerning that the moderators allow disrupters of his ilk to continue to get away with this type of obnoxious behavior.
It really ruins it for the majority that are looking to engage in meaningful dialog.

I told him exact same thing in other topic, as it looks like he creates them only to moan about s23, but to return the device you have to have it first 😅

This place is way too over moderated. That's not even rude. Fear mongering = "the action of deliberately arousing public fear or alarm about a particular issue" which is exactly what is being done here by someone who doesn't even have the phone and always has to talk down about every single other phone while holding onto his N10+ for dear life. Every little issue that gets reported he blows up into a big thing warning people not to get the phone or to return it. It gets old. I'm not the only one who's sick of it. You guys wonder why people like myself who have been here for years (2007 in my case) are leaving and it's exactly because of this crap. He gets away with this stuff while we get scolded like toddlers

It's really irritating that people look for this nonsense that doesn't affect the functioning of the phone one iota and then share it around and ruin everyone else's enjoyment of their devices.

I can confirm that my US Ultra has this. Never would have seen it if it wasn't pointed out.
