I chose english when setting it up. Everything is in English, that's good. But the icon with the number of emails that I got on the home screen displays the number in arabic. I had that in the beginning, then it started showing in usual numbers and now after restart is shows in arabic numbers. Number 1 looks almost the same but all the other ones look different. is there a way to default them to european numbers (that are strangely called arabic but are used all over the world, not the arabic numbers that are used in arab world)
I've got another question but I don't think it's related to the build. I was downloading and installing a program from the market. For some reason it froze at the install process. Any time I go to My downloads in the market or find this program and go to it to redownload it, I see that it still says "Installing". I can't cancel it to download it again as it has a progress bar and is supposedly installing. I have restarted the phone since then but get to the same problem. Is there a way to kill that process or cancel it? I used Advanced Task Manager and killed all running programs but it's still says Installing.
When the market for the first time running the first update existing applications to automatically ... Do not worry ... This explains the difficulty in first
The other thing the market for that updates itself to the new version ... If left for some time you'll see that he would work with the new version
After that things will go well
It has been two days and it still says it's installing that app. It's not installed as it is not listed under programs, I can't install it as it says it is already installing at the moment. The installation progress bar is not progressing. I can install all other apps no problems and it's not a problem with this app as I did install it on other builds before, it's just that the phone froze before on it and I had to pull the battery out in the middle of the installation. It also seems like the battery life has gotten worse since then probably because it's trying to install it non stop. If I could only find the process for this install and just kill it, that would be great. Is that possible to kill or close the process that's responsible for installing apps?
go to language & keyboard ,,, & uncheck local number or national number
1. I'm sorry ... These languages are available in Release 2.32.415.3 ,,, & use morelocal2.apk from market ...
2.HTC Friends I do not know... Any version you use? ,,, themed Ara Carbon ? ... try stock clean
On another subject, is there a way to change the notification sounds for each email account? Currently I have a very loud sound that I use for the calendar and task notifications. I would like a subtler sound for each different email account using both IMAP and POP mail.
Funny, this didn't happen to me until about an hour ago (used this build about 18 hours). I had the problem with my calendar app, Smooth Calendar, but all I had to do was open and close the settings and the numbers went back to "normal". However, I just had the same issue as you've had with the email numbers. Again, opening the Smooth Calendar settings fixed it. Odd.the icon with the number of emails that I got on the home screen displays the number in arabic. I had that in the beginning, then it started showing in usual numbers and now after restart is shows in arabic numbers.
I understand that this was meant for the Arab world but I would like to use it with English. I got the language changed to English. Everything is great, I just would really like to remove some programs like Al-Moazin, iQuran, dictionary and Hijri calendar. Sorry about that.
I can't remove them through Manage applications, they are not in the Android Apps folder. I thought that maybe if I delete data.img file and let it generate a new one it would be without them but when a new file got generated they were there again.
Is there a way to remove them? if yes, how can I do that?
Also I wanted to add my HTC Sense account but it's not listed under accounts and there is no HTC Hub and no HTC Like.
Hi great build no flaws so far tested for most the day today wifi is better on this build, I to do not want the above apps as I don't need them, but following your instructions I can't get rid of them. when you say root explore do you mean on the phone or on the desktop? Sorry for the stupid questions but I am still learning.
