IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SOMETHING ELSE I SHOULD ADD TO THE THREAD, PLEASE REPLY, AS I WANT THIS THREAD TO BE HELPFUL FOR EVERYONE, AND A THREAD WHERE PEOPLE CAN FIND THEIR ANSWERS, INSTEAD OF MAKING NEW THREADS ASKING THE SAME QUESTION.

Hey guys. I have read alot of threads where people are having similar issues, which is actually really easy to fix. I'm not going to write 500 words explaining it.. Just follow those steps bellow :)

Fix most similar issues (CLEAN INSTALL):

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HSPL 2.08 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433

Task 29 simply clears all the cache, data everything on your phone.. it makes your phone brand new.

1. download task 29 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644781

2. enter bootloader mode (hold volume down button while clicking on power button once) PS: make sure your phone is off.

3. install task 29

now you will have nothing on your phone.

4. install radio Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787 (highly recommended rom for mostly nand roms)

You can now flash an android rom. (if you have to install it with cwm, look at the instructions below:

How to install CWM on MAGLDR (NOT CLK!)
First install magldr (run updateutility.exe as an admin) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893618
If you want to install Clockwork Mod download CWM. You will see 3 versions. 150mb, 250mb and 400mb. To know which one to flash, check what the chef of your android rom has written. If not, ask him :)
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=987531 (scroll down)

(make sure your phone is turned off) Turn on your phone. Hold down the power button untill you enter MAGLARD. CLick on usb flasher. Now right click on DAF.exe (clockworkmod) and run as an admin. After flash is done, you are ready to flash an android rom trough Clockworkmod. Go to ad recovery and install your rom :)

Clk and MAGLDR are differant bootloaders!
Clk:
- charge while phone is turned off
- better rom manager support
- faster bootup
- Open source
- PPP
Magldr:
-Wp7 support
-Rmnet
-Tetris Support :D

GPS FIX
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953630

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1100114 (guaranteed working! got gps lock in 2 seconds)
To make the gps lock even faster, remember to edit the gps.conf file inside system/etc to the location where you live. You can find the ntp pool server from here:

Fix mini FC issues/wifi not working
Stuck at android screen or cm7 loading screen? try this:
At clockworkmod (option 8) wipe cache, factory reset, then go to advanced and wipe dalvik chache and battery stats, if it doesnt work, try to reinstall everything. (sometimes, just reinstalling the rom works) + MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE RIGHT CLOCKWORKMOD, IF NOT YOU HD2 WILL BE STUCK AT ANDROID SCREEN,,,,,,, if you dont have the right radio, it will be stuck at htc screen.
If you get : nand kernel open failed, make sure you are trying to install a MAGLDR rom and not a CLK ROM
If your wifi is not working, do a task29, then wipe cache/data/dalvik cache from cwm. Then reinstall the rom.
to fix wifi issue, try wiping cache and dalvik cache, flash the kernel and fix permissions. You can also try to replace the wpa_suppliciant from your rom.

Fix robotic voice issue:
1. First solution, disable “Audible touch tones” from the “Sound Settings” menu(just uncheck the box) and reboot your phone. (Note: Disable it right after you flash a new ROM and reboot, that way your phone system will remember it.) So, no more Robo Voice for you.
2. Second solution, while you experienced the Robotic-Voice call, enable the loud speaker, and disable it. You will have no more Robotic-Voice until your next boot.

ok, try this:)
- Download a stock Rom from htc.com
- Rename the extension to .zip
- open it with winzip and extract the RUU_signed.nbh file to a folder
- Rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and copy it to the root of a microSD card thats been formatted to FAT32
- Insert your storage card into your phone
- Enter Bootloader and follow onscreen instructions to flash

Maybe you can also explain how dalvic and other caches do work in magldr?
Seems the OP's love the CWM and are developing more and more that way.

GPS issues on all roms

Do you know if it fixes some issues like the GPS making the screen freeze and the phone lock up? My roms are running well, I only have that problem when I use GPS.
P.S.: I've already configured the gps.config for my location (Brazil) and the GPS is finding the satellites very fast but the it make the phone crashes very often

Hi, great thread! Thanks for the info.

I have a question about the SD-card. Is it necessary to format the card before installing a ROM? And if so what format (FAT32 or..)?

happened to me to, but i changed my rom, it's not happening anymore:) something in the rom you are using may cause your phone crash when you use your gps. Maybe you should ask the chef of the rom if the issue is familiar, and if it is a fix for it ?

hey guys...huge noob here...please don't get mad at me if it's been posted or is really common sense...i read the guides...im still extremely confused.

here we go. so i bought an HTC HD2....my friends dad flashed android on it for me...i was satisfied, and still am, of course...but i wanted CM7, not the current rom that I have.
ROM manager doesn't work for me...AT ALL. if i try backing up my current rom, it just reboots. if i try updating a rom from SD, it just reboots. if i boot into recovery, its just reboots. IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT REBOOTING INTO THE SAME EXACT ROM.

I have no idea how to change roms through my computer...don't know what cLk or Mgldr stand for or what the differences are or anything like that. The only flashing i've ever done was with the HTC Excallibur. or the tmobile dash as they call it.

Im decent with technology, and the only stuff i ever did with firmwares was with ipods...seems alot easier to me but ive been into that for a while..

so can anyone please help me as to why my HD2 won't change/backup my roms? I can download them, but i can't change them. I don't know how to do it through a computer, and the threads are so complicated on them D:
    Thanks for any replies :\
P.S. yes, i flashed both the Alternate recovery and clockwork recovery up to date with the HTC HD2 selected in the list.
The rom I currently have is NexusHD2-Gingerbread v2.3 NAND. Android version 2.3.2

EDIT: After reading around on the rom that I am using, it says that all ROM MANAGER options are useless with Mgldr and that i need cLk. This is a problem for me because I've read about the known problems of using cLk with that rom. Also, I don't know how to change into cLk, nor do I want to do that. I'd' like to change my ROM through my computer...although could someone please tell me if I can install a new ROM and not lose all my data? I won't be able to back anything up since ROM MANAGER won't work. I have lots of apps and I set up quite a lot of options that I don't want to lose(no task29) . The main reason why I wanna change ROMS is because this ROM is giving me a lot of trouble. Thank you.

Okay.. So the instructions for all your questions is in my thread, but I see you're "new" to this.. And it is normal to be a newb with those stuffs. Without knowledge, it's hard to do.. So, the first thing you will need to do, is to download titanium backup, backup all your apps. When your are done, PM me, I will help you trough team viewer.

anyone please? :) i have my mobile phone connected with my pc. Thank You.

Do you have Activesync ? if you dont, uninstall and isntall again. then try. You have hspl right ? :)
