This ROM is based on stock Nexus One, including FRG83G OTA (Froyo / Android 2.2.2).
Kernel: tytung r2 oldcam (supports CIFS UTF-8, WiFi MAC address, Yaffs, Ext2/3/4) based on hastarin r8.6 oldcam.
Credits: Cotulla, TYTung, Hastarin, Markinus, Letama, Rajko, Gauner1986, RaiderX303, Dsixda, etc.

1. Installation
===============
You should have at least MAGLDR 1.11 on device.
For installation you need to enter MAGLDR (hold "Power" button during boot)
and select "Flasher" via "VolUp" and "VolDown". Confirm key is green "Call" button.

2. Uninstallation
=================
You should flash stock official Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM.

3. Information
==============
This is based on stock Nexus One ROM except
blocking ads (hosts is replaced),
adding utility and root permission (busybox, su and Superuser.apk are added),
adding HSDPA and battery % icons (framework-res.apk is replaced),
adding 720p video playback (libOmxVdec.so is replaced), and
other necessary modification to make it working on HD2.

  • Everything should be working. (No new customized feature, e.g. FM Radio, will be added since this is ported from the official Nexus One ROM.)
  • CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery for HD2 is integrated. (The NAND partition layout is ready for CWM when installing this ROM via DAF.exe.)
It's time to learn the native Android update.zip installation and Nandroid backup and restore in order to update your system easily and safely.

If you can provide any new features via a flashable update_signed.zip file for ClockworkMod Recovery, I will place your name here.
The description is a must when you provide a file.

I was waiting for this! I've been using your build since 2-3 weeks ago with a few attempts to use other builds and I have constantly come back to this one. I got to say, data drops are very minimal, like 2-3 per day if any at all, GPS works like a charm, Market downloads are blazing fast and no force closes to mention. Will try this build out and definitely donate to you and the DFT development team!

Thanks you your hard work!

How to install FRG83D's blackbar and stockbar addons with H and battery % icons

tytung can we get black notification bars for this?

    Tytung,

First of all: Happy New Year to you!

I just installed this build, and love it :) It boots in 47 seconds! That's from power up untill cell provider appears on lock screen (signed on to the network). Amazing! With the last 24MB activated in MAGLDR I have 238 Mb free internal memory after boot. That's almost twice the space compared to the Desire (HD) builds. Great work.

Just like the previous poster I would like to know whether it's possible to use the black notification bar with the NAND build (if not, please edit the description in the addon section). Hopefully there's a workaround. It's just cosmetic, but I like the black one :)

    Sincerely,
    Mac

FRG83D's blackbar and stockbar addons with H and battery % icons are still working.

However you need to push framework-res.apk and services.jar into Android by using adb or gscript.

    adb tool on Windows
    Code:
    adb push D:\framework-res.apk /system/framework/
    adb push D:\services.jar /system/framework/
    adb shell chmod 644 /system/framework/*

    GScript on Android
    Code:
    mount -o remount rw /system
    busybox cp -a /sdcard/Android/root/system/framework/framework-res.apk /system/framework/
    busybox cp -a /sdcard/Android/root/system/framework/services.jar /system/framework/
    chmod 644 /system/framework/*
    mount -o remount r /system
    echo Finished
    echo Reboot required.

You can use the command below to reboot from GScript
    Code:
    sync; sync; sync; reboot

    1. Use Titanium Backup to backup all your data.
    2. And install V1.9b NAND
    3. Use Titanium Backup to restore data.
    4. Enter the ClockworkMod Recovery mode and do a Nandroid backup.

    I'll release NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V2.0_NAND later.

    Edit:
New kernel is ready for App2SD+

Upgrade from V1.8 SD to V1.9a(b) NAND

Is there any way to copy all my settings from 1.8 sd build to the new 1.9a nand build? with settings i mean also apps and their settings, my wallpaper, my launcher etc. so that i flash your new build and after booting everything's like on my sd build.

    In V1.8 SD version
    --------------------
    Run Titanium Backup
Press Menu (Windows Key) => Batch
Press Run (Backup all user apps + system data)
All data will be saved into a TitaniumBackup folder in the SD card.

    In V1.9a(b) NAND version
    --------------------
    Run Titanium Backup
Press Menu (Windows Key) => Batch
Press Run (Restore missing apps + all system data)
    Reboot to take effect.
After reboot, you need to add all widgets in the Home Screen manually.
