Other than supporting new devices...RC2 includes bugfixes and updated translations.....is that it ?
There is no official changelog yet, so I can't really produce anything more than that.

Don't update over existing CM9, this will mess it up, all my apps are gone and massive stop errors.
Unfortunately, major bugs are evident.
That seems like a rom for daily use.
installed rom twice after task29, some apps ar gettin erro rand not workin, those apps worked on other roms (Nexus ICS) with Link2SD.
i have problem with battery. I put it to the sleep when it have 34% power at 10 PM. Morning, i wake up and it turned off,
i turned off wifi, GPS and bluetooth
i think the problem is at rom.
thank you for your work
So what are the cache requirements? you haven't stated those.
Update: Found them in a reply post. The cache requirement not included in main post. Also, a bit confused whether to go with a 210mb partition as stated in the main post or 220mb as stated in your reply post?
Cyanogenmod 9 RC2 features various bug fixes and updated translations. This moves Cyanogenmod 9 one step further to a final release. This build requires at least 215 mb in the /system partition. 5 mb cache will work. Framework files and system apps are entirely from the desire build. Rom should feel smooth. Rest of it is based on NexusHD2.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
- Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache from advanced settings in recovery. Then, flash 'cm-9.0.0-RC2-1.1-leo-securecrt_hwa' and fix permissions.
- NOTE: It will not work if you don't wipe data. It'll bootloop, most probably. If you have problems with superuser, download supersu from Google Play.
CM9 RC2 1.1
- Updated the base.
- Included latest lights lib from marc.
- Changed to securecrt's latest kernel.
- Included GPU libs from securecrt.
- Fixed a lot of stuff. Rom should feel faster now.
