So I've been testing this out today and I got to say it's been one of the best roms I have used.Everything working even gps which is something I have had issues with almost every time when dealing with 4.0 roms. Now I just have to get fb contacts syncing and it will be my daily Thanks again!.

Install supersu from Google Play.

Do you have at least 215 mb in /system? Also, make a logcat and upload it to logcat.miui.us.

yes, i have 220 mb system partition, and it still doesn't boot up

Make a logcat.

EDIT: Try something a little larger first. You probably have bad blocks. Does it go to the bootanimation or does it stall at the HTC screen?

Yes, you have bad blocks then. Try something larger than 220. 230 should be fine.

Try 250/5 that's what I use and it worked .

sorry guys, it's a lot that i had my HD2 in the box because i've bought a Nexus on December, so i forgot one thing: I just formatted the SD card with 1 GB partition (for system) and 0 for swap, is this the right way to allow the android system to install the apps on the SD instead of the (poor) space on the NAND? Or there is no way to do this? I remember that every ROM was different in this, but unlucky, after 1 year I forgotted at all

EDIT: tried to flash with 215/5, it stucks on CM9 logo on startup, now trying 230/5, hope it's fine...

Even after installing SuperSu from Google Play i'm having root problems.. =/ thats a pity because this is one of the best ICS roms out there...

Anyone found a way to fix this?

I also experiencing problems with root: no pop-up from su when any root app is opened.
Tried the flash-able zip of superuser you just gave, but that did not solve it(su disappears in the app list).
Also superSU from market is the same story.
