27 Aria's - all randomly rebooting

I have been doing some searching and reading on the random reboot issue but I have not found a solution.

We are a repair/resale shop and we currently have 27 HTC Aria's that are all doing the random reboot thing. It can happen as frequently as every 5 minutes. I have a hunch that it may be an issue based on location. Possibly only in LTE markets?

I am trying to gather some feedback and see if we can find a solution to this problem. Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd imagine the issue is probably caused by one of two things. (That is, these are the two possibilities that seem logically consistent with what people have reported about it on this forum so far. I don't even use my Aria anymore so I am not speaking from personal experience here.)

1) Change made by AT&T to their network in certain areas. Maybe LTE-related, maybe something else. Only real way to be sure about this is if someone took an Aria that works fine to a different city and it started to reboot, or vice versa.

2) Bug with internal clock. (Something similar to the leap year bug that affected the older PS3s.)

I use a Samsung Infuse now but last phone was Aria with CM7 when the phone started with the reboot hiccups. I went back to stock, hiccup, hiccup... Today I played around with it and finally got CM9 on it. It's been charging most of the day so I haven't seen it hiccup yet. And I don't live in LTE area, so that isn't it from my perspective.

I tried virtually everything, rooting/un-rooting, stock HTC Sense Froyo, CM 7 & 9, and even two trips to HTC to have the main board changed under warranty. I finally tried a T-Mobile sim card (after SIM unlocking the new main board) and the rebooting stopped! I then got a new AT&T sim and it worked, no rebooting.

What's really strange is that the phone still randomly reboots when running without a SIM. One more thing: I have two Arias with the same problem, only the other one was out of warranty and therefore was not "repaired" by HTC. The new sim cards fixed the problem - including a European sim and an AT&T sim that was not activated.

Go figure.

One more thing. Let me know if changing the sim works. Just curious to see if I stumbled on to something.

Came home today to find the Aria in one continuous CM9 animation page. More like the energizer bunny just going and going and...battery is now sitting next to the phone.

Did this ever get resolved? I'm having the same issue. I noticed it after putting a liberated Sense rom with 2.2.2 on it that I found on the forums.

It had CM7 when I got it, but I didn't use it long enough to see the issue, so IDK. Trying CM6 now to see what happens.
