    Hi,

also for the last tablet series developed by Trekstor, I managed to get a CWM 6.0.1.9 recovery built using CWM Builder. As I don't own the device though, I'm unable to say if it is really operational or not (although I highly assume that the recovery is able to start, just the mount points can be problematic as the Trekstor devs were not really clever with they recovery.fstab layout, see attached).

That's why I need a brave tester who will PM me wanting to flash the CWM recovery. Then I will give the exact instructions on how to flash the recovery and how to boot into it.

I know it's a little simple to say this, but I cannot guarantee that everything will work flawlessly. Unfortunately the architecture of the Ventos 9.7 series differs greatly from the 8 series (working via uImage format).

Still, I will give my support to get a non-working tablet running again if the recovery boot loops or whatsoever (in the hope that adb works :) ).

    Regards

    hey,

I got a ventos 9.7 from my gf a few hours ago ;) I'll try to root the device to checkout the playstore working. Tell me what to test (maybe export some data?) and I'll do it.

    cheers,
