and yea i tried on WMP and coreplayer and same behavior when i use headset next song the screen "turns on" like if i press end hard button or lock button "waking up" for seconds , i wish use s2p so badly =( but i cant figure out yet whats wrong in my device :S u.u great work as always =)

LOck sound not playing

Guys,

This is a sweet app, however I am having a problem getting the lock sound to play.. What i am shooting for is the clone the setup of the Iphone, press power button on Touch Pro 2 to power off screen and have lock sound play. Then when waking up, slide - unlock sound plays.

Unlock sound is fine, however I am stumped on the locking sound/setup.

Any help/advice would be great!

I am Adding s2u2 in my rom and i need to know is there any way running s2u2 ilock.exe without showing freeware license...

2- Volume control from the hardware keys is not blocked. When locked and you press vol up/down it shows the system volume sliders. Would love to lock this as my belt clip keeps hitting them and changing the volume. If I set it to not be the system lock, these are locked, but the 6.5 system lock keeps locking under it so I get two apps locking the divice from time to time.

2. Check out the "Don't lock system" option.

Thanks A_C but I did try "Dont lock system" as noted above just worded it wron in my post as "set it to not be the system lock" if I set "Don't lock system" it will lock the volume keys, but about 15% of the time the default system lock will come on and I will get s2u2 locking as well as the default lock. This causes me to not be able to answer calls sometimes as I the default lock doesnt want to release the device after s2us releases.
Ill try the new pocket weather RC for issue 1 thanks.

Okay, I have one little issue. I am running 2.34 on my i920 Omnia 2 and sometimes I'll lock the phone (vjbrisk is used to override the samsung lockscreen button) and when I unlock all seems well, until I try to re-lock it...the lockscreen never comes up, I have to go into my task manager and kill the S2U2.exe process then lock it again to get it working...any ideas?

and on the other note, anyone know how to override the omnia 2 caller id screen?

S2U2 and C0okie's Home tab 1.7

Hi i recently installed cookies' home tab 1.7 which works fantastically well with HD2

i have been using the awesome S2u2 but a new problem developed

1 when i stat the phone fresh/soft reset
when i ring someone up, there is NO slide 2 end as it pops up with caller ID photo and timer.
that is fixed once i go into s2u2's settings once and exit again.

(i tried changing boot up delay and that didn't fix it)

2. (this occured prior to cookie's home tab{)
once its working
the slide 2 end shows up with caller id photo as i dial someone , then the problem is the manila dial screen pops up and vibrates for a sec then the s2u2 pops up . showing my default background, no caller id, but does have a timer and slide 2 end option. this is not bad but it would be great if there was a persistent caller ID

Sprint logo does not appear in S2U2

Hi Everyone:

I wanted to get Sprint logo to appear in S2U2 v2.34 on my CDMA Touch Pro2 (running on wm6.5 stock ROM), so I followed A_C's instructions. I downloaded the logo (Sprint.png) from this PPCGeeks link and put it in \Programs Files\S2U2\gfx\operator folder. Then, I opened and closed the settings menu in S2U2 and hooked up my device to my laptop by activesync and from my laptop, I navigated went to my device's \Program Files\S2U2\S2U2 Settings.log where I copied this file to my laptop and edited it with MS Notepad

from "Logo: \Program Files\S2U2\gfx\operator\.png"

to "Operator Logo: \Program Files\S2U2\gfx\operator\Sprint.png".

I deleted the file on my device and put this newly edited file in its place. Then, I softreset my device, but the Sprint logo still does not appear in the S2U2 screen. When I go back and open the file, the word Sprint that I put in was deleted from the command line. I tried putting it capitalized and un-capitalized with no success. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

The lock sound is only playing when running S2U2 in foreground. Just run the S2U2 shortcut. I think it is not playing on power off screen becauce it suspends the device. Maybe A_C could give you a more detailled information.


By the way:

Anyone who has the original iPhone unlock sound. I found it once but am not able to find it again.

Problem with 2.34

When I use Destinator 7 for gps guidance (Omnia i900 WM6.1 rom) and receive an incoming call , S2U2 freezes and buttons doesn't work for answer/reject. The slider goes once to the right but doesn't answer the call. Omnia needs restart and the call is missed.

i have the same problem but without Destinator. I have Omnia i900 with WM6.5 and this problem shows randomly, phone just vibrate and soft reset is need. I had to back to v2.30

When I lock my device (with my lock key, Omnia Lite), and then press it again the S2U2 comes up. When I unlock that the original Windows Mobile lock comes up, so my phone is "double locked" How can I disable the default lock screen?

EDIT: Solved, "Lock when waked up" off.

Feature Request

Im in love with this little app...
One little feature request:

Default Unlock Brightnes.
Recurring issue for me is to turn LCD brightness down at night time, then run out in the morning, to try and unlock my phone in the daylight to find I can't see the numbers to unlock the phone. I then need to duck under a tree or the such to see the screen to unlock, then sharply turn the brightness back up.

Am loving my other feature (randomise unlock numbers), and it also a nice little running game to see how fast I can find the numbers and unlock my phone!

A Very professional programme (not a simple unlock programme anymore) and we should all be darn thankful that its free, and A_C humors our feature requests.
(I owe you a slab of beer)

Dear A_C,

The ppl o f chinesephones specialy ciphone c6 would like to see future updates on s2u2, s2P, s2V in HVGA , since the builds which comes with the ROM are quite old, i know i have already contacted you about this but i didn´t get any feedback only to ask the manufacturer , the problem here , the cifans ppl build new rom´s but they don´t have the newer sources for the HVGA devices as far as i know......

i appreciate your work and honor it since it´s free, good and it really kicks ass !!!

pls think about it to support HVGA

Tested S2U2 on a HD Mini with hvga Display:
The VGA Version did not start - error message wrong resolution.
So I have to take the qvga version.
The lower slider is very small (too small!)
Found one bug: sometimes the Mini directly turn on after manual switch off.
With this 2 issues I removed it, waiting for a hvga version.

BTW: anyone knows how to reenable the win mobile 6.5 systemlock after deinstall S2U2????

And I've got a suggestion for you guys, what to include in the next version - it would be really great, if you would expand the weather apps that can be integrated into S2U2 - for example Touch Weather ( http://www.touch-weather.com/ ) could be included as well
And I gotta say thank you too - I'm using your software for quite a long time now, and I'm really satisfied

As someone has already mentioned in a reply to you, the lock sound will only work when you manually run s2u2.exe When you power off the screen you are not actually running s2u2, it only shows up when the screen is powered on, hope that answers your question.
