Hi Everyone:

I wanted to get Sprint logo to appear in S2U2 v2.34 on my CDMA Touch Pro2 (running on wm6.5 stock ROM), so I followed A_C's instructions. I downloaded the logo (Sprint.png) from this PPCGeeks link and put it in \Programs Files\S2U2\gfx\operator folder. Then, I opened and closed the settings menu in S2U2 and hooked up my device to my laptop by activesync and from my laptop, I navigated went to my device's \Program Files\S2U2\S2U2 Settings.log where I copied this file to my laptop and edited it with MS Notepad

from "Logo: \Program Files\S2U2\gfx\operator\.png"

to "Operator Logo: \Program Files\S2U2\gfx\operator\Sprint.png".

I deleted the file on my device and put this newly edited file in its place. Then, I softreset my device, but the Sprint logo still does not appear in the S2U2 screen. When I go back and open the file, the word Sprint that I put in was deleted from the command line. I tried putting it capitalized and un-capitalized with no success. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

It seems like you are making this alot more complicated then it needs to be. Tell me what does the S2U2 screen say in the top left hand corner next to the signal bars, whatever it says rename your sprint logo to that and place it in the operator folder, restart ilock and that should be it.

Would S2U2 cause RSS readers fail to update?

I'm using Yomomedia RSS reader. It seems to me that it is never updated (unless I press the soft key to do a manual update). I wonder if it is because S2U2 is locking and powering down the phone all day long. Is it the reason/

If yes, what could I do? If I add Yomomedia to the S2U2 exception list, then S2U2 won't even lock it. What I need is to keep the phone locked, but allow Yomomedia to run and retrieve the RSS feeds as scheduled. If I ask S2U2 not to power down the device, my phone will stay on and drain battery.

I never noticed that S2U2 would stop a program from retrieving updates!
Please try: settings -> advanced -> enable "don't suspend power"

Hi. I have unpleasant issue with "-unlock" command line parameter. It's work just fine when S2U2 is locked. But if not - weird things happens. Especially if unlock password present.

cant navigate to choose files

Can't navigate to choose a theme or a wallpaper or language or exception .exe... in the app file explorer just the "back" icon works. i cant select folders or filies.
Omnia i900 with custom WM6.5 (tried more than 5 different versions/cookers)

Go to Settings and in the Feedback menu, adjust the inertia of the slider. That will change the jerkiness

S2U2 and C0okie's Home tab 1.7

1 when i stat the phone fresh/soft reset
when i ring someone up, there is NO slide 2 end as it pops up with caller ID photo and timer.
that is fixed once i go into s2u2's settings once and exit again.

(i tried changing boot up delay and that didn't fix it)

the slide 2 end shows up with caller id photo as i dial someone , then the problem is the manila dial screen pops up and vibrates for a sec then the s2u2 pops up . showing my default background, no caller id, but does have a timer and slide 2 end option. this is not bad but it would be great if there was a persistent caller ID

i have a similar problem too, i'm running Sense 2.5(Energy ROM) with Cookie 1.71 on TD2 and S2US 2.34.

Clean install, no setting change, the program seems to be working ok.

But i have problem when i changed the wallpaper, it frozen my phone (no response to power key, have to soft reset).

Once restarted, no icon shown up on the Home Screen only see launching .... When someone calls, the answer dial screen came up, and i can answer call. Once the call is over the dial screen remained there except this time, the power button works.

the Windows button is not working

any suggestion?

I've searched this topic, but can't find the thing I want. I have a problem with the 'power off in' setting. It simply doesn't power off in the time set, but it always waits until the timeout of the backlight/auto power off of WM. So the value seems to be simply ignored.

How can I let the device power off with the value I choose in S2U2?
I toggled both 'Lock when screen is blank' and 'lock when backlight is turned off' to see if it matters, but it doesn't .

ActiveSync problem

Have a somewhat mysterious problem with S2U2. It seems that S2U2 starts ActiveSync on my HTC Touch2 when the phone is booted after a backup with Sprite backup. Is this only a special problem for me or has somebody else reported something similar?

Touch Pro 2 issues

I really appreciate the work put into this amazing, free tool.
Unfortunately I was forced to uninstall it on my Verizon Touch Pro 2 for the following reasons.

1) When in landscape mode (i.e. keyboard open), the graphics were screwed up. This is in the FAQ but I believe I already had it in GDI mode.

2) Sometimes S2U2 prevented me from answering a call. Since S2U2 does not allow me to quiet a ring without ignoring the call, I stayed with the default phone application for answering calls. However, sometimes it would be hidden by S2U2 and unlocking caused me to cancel the call.

3) Clock does not update in real time. Sometimes it will display the correct time, but usually it seems to stick with the time of the last time it was run. For example, this weekend I woke up and checked the time at about 10 in the morning, and it read 9:30PM (the night before). I have not found a work around and I have not been able to identify a specific trigger. This has caused me to miss meetings.

4) Most importantly, S2U2 will randomly cause my phone to become extremely slow because it starts to use 100% processor. Even if I close using iLock.exe, it will cause problems. I do not know what triggers this but it happens about once every 1-2 weeks. The only fix is to soft reset the device. Yesterday it happened and I did everything except restart the device, and it consumed the battery from 100% down to zero while I slept. The phone was completely dead before morning and my alarm never went off.

I can't let that happen again. Please remember that I still thank you for all the great work you have put into the WM community.
I'm no longer using but I hope this bug report helps in the future!

Ive just noticed while in the slide to unlock screen i can hold down my call button and it will bypass s2u2 and proceed to make a call. Any help would be great!!! thanks!!! Sprint Treo Pro

I have had this problem ever since using S2U2 on my HTC Fuze (WM 6.1, AT&T) (I think the first version I ever downloaded was 2.02). The Caller ID pops up, but S2U2 cancels the call. The caller just gets voicemail. It seems to happen randomly and just often enough to be a problem (maybe 1/3 or 1/4 of all calls). I still use S2U2 because of the locking and other great features.

s2u2 and WinMo 6.5.x

Sorry if this has been covered but I searched the thread under 6.5.x and 6.5.5

I've recently installed the CleanEx Ultimate ROM on my HD2 which is described as being 6.5.X and tried installing s2u2 and s2p which I've also recently discovered (and love!(. All functions work correctly until a soft reset or power off, and then the Home button bar gets obstructed by the new soft buttons at the bottom (on this ROM they are "people" and "menu").

I've uninstalled s2u2 for the time being, as s2p works fine, but was just wondering if you'll be working on a 6.5.X compatible version? Really missing the preview email and sms functions at the moment!

Excellent work on these, both excellent and much needed functions IMO.

Hi,
first things firts : this is a super tool !

I don't know if i am on the right place but i have a suggestion. It would be VERY handy to be able to use the phone (just like the emergency call) when the device is locked so you basically have an ordinary phone. Then you would only have to unlock when you want to 'enter' the windows/touchflow environment for applications.

Don't tell me this is possible, then i will hide under the desk the rest of the day ...

Thanks for this great app. I've been using this for a long time now. I use the Message preview option very much that I don't even have to unlock most of the time. Awesome.

I do have a question. When I installed the new version on my TmoUS Stock ROM, I had the option to slide to vibrate/unlock feature. But, now I have the latest Energy ROM and I don't see the slide to vibrate option anymore. I guess, energy rom is not compatible?

I have the same problem. It usually appears after third incoming call. It all began from version 2.33.
