he will not get a chance to flash firmware as it is s-on with super cid.
1) process will halt when flashing firmware as cid is super cid, won't it?
2) and also can i get to know, did it come at&t devices with s-off unlocked?
we can't see sellers who sell these type of devices as good sellers. It is not worth to forgive them ever.
but this teaches us many lessons to life, doesn't it? I think, they teach us to think, to find new things, to avoid doing it again, to bear profit & loss.
anyway I agree 100% with returning device.
1) No.. SuperCID won't stop flashing firmware as long as the MID is correct.
Most important, must be a signed firmware and relocked/locked bootloader for S-On

2) Don't think so. Out of the box is S-On

I remember someone else managed to get 4G after he flashed AT&T radio.img only.
But this can be done only on S-Off device.

I'm not reading the whole thing here .. I guess OP has nothing to lose if he try to run Sunshine apk to S-Off. If the device was S-Off with Sunshine before, the app won't ask any payment .. just try it.

You need s-off ($25 US by sunshine app) to change radio baseband. Even then, its not guaranteed you will get 4G on your local carrier. I've seen a number of folks flash the proper radio baseband (supports their carrier's LTE band) but don't get LTE service. Unfortunately, don't know why, and haven't seen a solution for this.

So it may/may not be worth a $25 gamble, for something what may not work.
This won't work for him ?

I'm gonna try it myself to get LTE on T-mobile and At&t network as my phone is european and only supports european bands for LTE. 3G works fine though. btw my device is S-OFF and I'm already on US unlocked/developer stock firmware.

my problem was solved by installing the latest m8 google play edition rom...it didnt work first time as i still had edge(2g)
but the next morning i picked my phone i had hspap(3g)....it goes of some time but 95% of time it connects to 3g
after installing the rom keep your setting to 3g preferred and in *#*#4636#*#* menu keep it to wcdma preferred these are the setting that worked for me best of luck.just be patient will connect to 3g

and i have unlocked the bootloader
s-off
twrp recovery and flashed the pre-rooted rom

i hope this helps

No, it won't work. For all M8 versions except Verizon and Sprint (CDMA variants) the NV values are locked; and will return to "default" upon reboot.
Yes, I tried it. It reads the value in the LTE BC Config but I'm unable to write the new value. It changes back to default immediately even before reboot.
