I am not a developer, so I might be wrong.. but I was using my logic and this is what I thougt: With 2ndboot builds, we can load a custom kernel, custom roms, etc.. without needing to unlock our Defy bootloader.
Now, what if someone managed to unlock the BL, will there will be any improvement? And the cons is, since the BL is unlocked, we have serious chances to brick our Defy. I am right?
Thanks

Youp, with unlocked bootloader you can freely flash boot to anything.. like grub.. and brick your device easly...

But it's your choice, your device, your money.
You can choise what you want to do with your phone... not so ugly uncle from motorola or others hardware and software devs

Repartion /cache and add more storage system or data since cache is pretty useless. And many more ways to brick your phone if you are a noob :p

I think that with an unlocked bl we can move /system to ext4 to make it faster, and resize it with some space from /data, so no more system size issues when flashing cm10.1 with gapps :D

And also debugging will be easier, plus recovery will not be damaged by incomplete installation of roms
