3.1 keyboard different?

I just installed 3.1 and for some reason I can't get the colon ":" to show up in the characters. When i go to google voice it comes back up but in the web browser its not there... anyone have this problem?

edit: checked and it only changes to another layout whenever i click on the address bar of the browser... wierd

On the address bar, colon is the secondary function on the / key, to the right of the spacebar.
