My BestBuy puchased non-Verizon WiFi Xoom finally greeted me with the update message tonight when I turned it on for the first time in about 24 hours. Yesterday and the day before it didn't matter how far in advance I set the date, it still did not get the update.

Now if only Netflix would release their tablet app for 3.x. I don't really want to watch movies on my G2...

just got mine 5 minutes ago on my release day US wifi xoom after using it for about an hour.

yep, me too.

I've been using my xoom all night, set it down around 11:40 and picked it back up right about 1am. Five minutes later I get a pop-up that says a system update is available but my battery is too low (39%) to run it. Cool stuff

I'm also eagerly awaiting Netflix on my precious..lol

Xoom wifi only bought in US living in Denmark.

Got my update this morning.
Xoom has been connected on vpn to US.

Tried the date trick many times, but don't believe it has any effect.

Anyway I'm now on 3.1 and everything went well.

3.1

Finally got my update around 8:00pm AZT and pleasantly pleased so far, the overall performance increase is nice. I was amazed to plug in my Xbox 360 controller and have the Xoom automatically detect it, I tested it with Snesoid, and FPSE both worked almost flawless. Haven't been able to test ps3 controller yet, I need a USB mini to micro cable I'm sure once I get one it will work as well.
