so, thats the story:
I flashed Jelly Bean on my HD2 some days ago.
Now I used it for the first time with my house of marley headphones. Works great, except for the volume up/down buttons. they are just not responding at all, installing headset button controller or else did not help!
Even keytest.apk from another topic did not show up anything!

I then read JB has issues with all kinds of headset controlls: wired, bluetooth, one-button or three-button.
I found some solutions on how to block google now on one button headsets, but did not really find anything that could help me

anyone having the same problem... or even a fix? :)
strangest thing is it worked like a charm with honeycomb...

Which particular Jelly Bean? magldr, clk or NativeSD? You left out some important bits of your story. I hope it has a happy ending;)
its this rom

on magldr,as nand+dataonext... its an eu hd2 ;)

the rom it worked on was the latest dorimanx rom.

... so there is hope? :)

EDIT: may help to say its and "made for ipod/iphone/ipad"... I got a bit confused on that topic. It said several times apple came up with some ancient patents making it impossible for google to build in support for those headphone remotes... but how is it possible then tha it worked on gingerbread just fine?

well, it might be I lost something, but it seems like the only manual that came with it is a little booklet, basically saying "the compatibility of the 3 button remote varies from device to device"... oh sweet irony

its a wired headphone by the way, didnt make that clear eather sorry! :D

even google doesnt know how to reset those

EDIT: Just checked the rom thread, it says the latest update changed the audio_policy.conf... might there be a problem with that?
heres what tytung wrote on this update:

File audio_policy.conf from v1.2 works and HD2 doesn't reboot when a headphone is plugged.
Moreover, I merged v1.2 and v1.3 of audio_policy.conf and added something into audio_policy.conf.
Please flash audio_policy.conf_update_for_JB_v1.3.zip and test if anything breaks.

EDIT 2: so no ideas...?
