I think Funky and MoS use the same sources at Huawei for the codes. I'm trying another service right now. I will see if it works out there. Then i report here.

Huawei should be ashamed of himself. Locked and non-opening bootloader do not belong to Android.

With the news about Huawei's new OS coming, would they not be unlocking everyone's bootloader anyways to accommodate this? I mean they haven't said that they would offer it to already sold devices but isn't it logical that this all might be coming anyways?

So all three players that used to provide bootloader unlock codes are providing them again after having no availability for months.

FunkyHuawei (price: $124 ) https://funkyhuawei.club/bootloader
Ministry of Solutions (price: $45) https://ministryofsolutions.com/huawei-bootloader-unlock-service-all-new-models-new-firmwares
Global Unlocking Solutions (price: $45-50) https://global-unlocking-solutions.miiduu.com/bootloader-unlock-codes-choose-model-below

Get them while you can, seems as though availability may drop off at any point.
all prices are very sick  they left home very far away

Everyone should keep messaging support and refuse to let them close the ticket, if enough people do this they will give in if we are able to overload their support over time, make it feel like a daily master incident

do not accept their bullshit, be creative and persistent and we will win

Maybe we should create a petition and gain a lot of signatures.

Hi all

Is the unlock code still needed? I thought activating the OEM unluck function in developer settings did the same job. Am I totally wrong here?

Best regards
JC

Yes, the only kind that cause improvements tend to be those that dare ask for something better ;) The reason this is my first goto is because it usually works.

I once spent 2-3 years arguing with microsoft support on a similar principle and I won in the end. If we generate enough cost things will change. Everyone should keep in mind the cost of their device and make sure they make huawei spend more paying their support staff.

They only have about 100k employees outside RnD, only a fraction of that is technical support. they have sold over a hundred million units so far in 2019. we only need a fraction of a per-mille of users to care in orde to have a real impact on their bottom line, and the bottom line is the reason this is happening, the suits at the top think they can earn more this way, if we can prove them wrong their opinion of the locked bootloader is likely to change, money talks after all
