3 problems: touch screen, sound and proximity sensor

I have three issues with my XZ2 compact, and I'm wondering if these are known issues, and if there is a fix.

Touch screen issue. Sometimes it's impossible for me to answer my phone. Only happens if the phone rings while it's in my pocket. And even then it doesn't happen every time. If I turn the screen off and back on, I can answer the phone.

Call issue. Sometimes when a call connects, there is absolutely no sound. The other end can't hear me, and I can't hear them. Happens on both incoming and outgoing calls. This can also suddenly happen mid-conversation.

Proximity sensor issue. Sometimes during calls, the touch screen is still responsive. This results in me inadvertently putting calls on hold, muting calls etc. I hold the phone as close to my face as I can, and it still happens.

All these three issues seem to happen randomly. My phone can work perfectly for 4 or 5 calls, and then one of these issues will happen.

Are these known problems?

I recommend to do a full wipe on the newest 131 August firmware

Same issues

Hi,

I have the same issues from the start (about year +)
Sony just don't carry for the software compatibility with so different hardware (screen size, chipset, sensors) from other vendors .
So, just a many many bugs with drivers and terrible compatibility including terrible camera algorithms.
For me, this is my last phone from Sony

Try a full wipe on august firmware

Or a custom ROM, if you don't want to RMA your device
