I wonder if GAUSSIAN BLUR System UI module still works... Have you tested it yet ?
I don't know what that is nor where to find it, so I haven't tested it.

Xinternal sd not working

It's better to have knowledge of an xposed modules compatibility on Android version rather than stuck on bootloop with problematic module enabled, users can mention about their working xposed modules in this thread so that they are added to this list which makes it lot easier for all the xposed users. We are grateful to the people who contributed to the Xposed Framework and its Modules since its journey started especially the legend rovo89, Ed Xposed Developers Solohsu, givien2u, riru core developer Rikka, Module Devs and other contributers, let's hope incompatible modules make again way to the newer Android versions in near future...

this seems as good a place to ask as any...

I have an AndroidTV box that I want to try EdXposed on.
it's called Yagala T95 box (but has other names under different brands).
https://www.amazon.com/Android-F2-A...s=yagala+android+tv+box&qid=1599851543&sr=8-8

can anyone confirm that either YAHFA or SandHook works on this device or on a device based on the Allwinner H616 SoC ?

these devices don't take much to brick and I'd like to avoid that PITA as I don't have a PC. thanks for reading if nothing else.

EDIT: I grew curious/impatient and decided to find out for myself.

if you have a box similar to this one don't try flashing SandHook unless you're prepared to factory reset as I've just had to.
luckily the box took me into recovery where a factory reset was the only option available. it said the system had been corrupted.

I started again from scratch and I've successfully flashed riru-core and YAHFA and the box booted up OK. so maybe YAHFA works ??
I'll edit again and share my experience.

EDIT #2 finally restored all my apps back to where they were and realised I hadn't activated the modules in EdXposed,
rebooted only to land back in the same position. soft brick!

owners of this AndroidTV box... EdXposed is not for us lol,
DO NOT USE unless you have a way of backing up... which currently doesn't exist

A unique application. Is this out of necessity or just plain old curiosity?
Which modules do you have in mind?

@zan44 minminguard is pretty essential if I need to use free apps with obnoxious ads that take over a device for half a minute.
Ok. I experiment a lot and will give MMG a go.
AdAway has worked well for me over the years on just about any device (I think the choice of source lists really makes the difference).

Thanks again

I still use both, adaway covers browsers and minminguard covers 3rd party apps that require a web connection and can't just be denied internet access.

TOPIC: ScreenOffAnimation module working?

I'm running a Moto e6 on Android 9.
Got bootloader unlocked, installed Magisk via recovery and rooted phone.
Installed Riru core, EdXposed framework, EdXposed manager, and the ScreenOffAnimation module.
Everything pretends to be installed, activated, and working.
ScreenOffAnimation runs, I can select animation and timing as expected. But none of the animations actually run (yes, I tested every single one of them) in screen-off or screen-on mode.
Earlier in this thread, someone reported ScreenOffAnimation was working.
Do I have a wrong version of something??

What I found is: select the animation then soft reboot in Edxposed. It worked for me on 9 and on 10 now too. Also, sometimes you have to load ScreenOffAnimation first before any other module. Then load subsequent modules one at a time.

Are you running a phone that doesn't have RAMdisk (like my moto e6 doesn't...)?
I only have two modules installed: the edXposed manager (which is required, and has to be there first, I think) and the ScreenOffAnimation module.
But then there's the big issue: obviously, all this stuff can be made to work and survive a softboot. However, when I power down the phone, the root access (and edXposed, and ScreenOffAnimation) aren't there anymore (as they exist only in recovery).
Is it correct to assume, then, that whatever animations were selected/working will be gone?
Or are they somehow patched into the normal system?
