Well

Well, I have been listening to MP3's off of it for a while and have had not a single skip; and $75 for a 32GB card (class 2 notwithstanding) is a hell of a deal ... those nandroid backups and mp3's certainly fill a card quick.

I got one last week and have not had any sign of problems. I don't keep a lot of music on it, but sure seem to have a stack of nandroid backups taking up space.

picked one up over the weekend, thanks for the link. Came preformatted to fat32 so didnt even need to bother with that at all.

for people bothered with class, pulled from a post in the link earlier:

CLASS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH READ SPEEDS, ONLY WRITE SPEEDS. and even then, its not that big of a difference since it only defines the MINIMUM write speed, which means even a class 2 can go as fast as a class 6 at times. so unless youre loading gBs of data at a time onto the card on a regular basis, you dont need anything bigger than a 2. playing music from the card has nothing to do with what class it is. or playing apps, or looking through photos, or ANYTHING OTHER THAN PUTTING LARGE FILES ONTO THE CARD.

Not a big deal at the moment but once we get 720p vid recording, having a class 2 could and probably will affect the quality of recordings to some extent. But hes right, if your only interested in storing files on it, this is a nice find.

What I want to know is how you guys are getting them to apply your discount.
Doing a Live Chat with a VZW rep about this issue now ... below is what she says. I will update with results.

Chasity: I recommend you go ahead and purchase the item. Once your order is confirmed, you can contact our Customer Care department at 1-800-922-0204 to have the discount added to your order.
Chasity: You will need your 9 digit confirmation number.

UPDATE: Ended up processing order over the phone with rep ... total came to $80 with free overnight shipping BOOYAAAH!!!!! (yah ... I said it ... )

UPDATE2: Got mine via FEDEX today! Thanks OP for the heads up on this great deal!

Actually, I think you may be wrong here.

http: //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#Speeds

A class 2 has a ~16Mbps write speed. The average 720p video bitrate is ~3.4-5Mbps. You could easily record 1080p video on a class 2 without a hitch.

that must be where I went wrong. I called without ordering to see if there was a way they could apply the discount manually, and they said there's no discount available because it's a special online only price.

Where are you looking?
EDIT: Eabruzzese is correct. Did not notice the lower case "b" for bits not bytes.

Speed Class Rating
The Speed Class Rating is the official unit of speed measurement for SD Cards, defined by the SD Association. It is equal to 1 MB/s (8 Mbit/s), and it measures the minimum sustained write speeds for a fragmented state
The following are the ratings of some currently available cards:
Class 2: 2 MB/s
Class 4: 4 MB/s
Class 6: 6 MB/s
Class 10: 10 MB/s

I had to call customer care to get my 25% off. Not happy about that. Always been automated when I log in. This is PERFECT for music.
