350 for a Refurb Note 8. Good deal?

Hi guys
I've been looking to buy a Galaxy Note 8.0 for quite some time now and I've been looking for the best deal I can get, but for 425+tax in Canada its a little too expensive. I found a refurbished one on eBay totally $350 including shipping & import charge. Do you guys think its a good deal or should I wait a bit to buy it new when some store has a promotion (if they ever do)
What do you guys think?

That's the one I'm talking about, but with shipping and import charge for Canada it totals up to 350. Is that still a good deal? Or for that price would I be better off just buying it new

In Canada staples has them at 429 same for best buy they trying to rob me of my money! classifieds have nothing on them

I would say no it's not a good deal. I got my Note brand new for $320 at Office Max with a coupon.

EDIT: just caught the Canada part. Are you in a part of Canada where you can just drive across the border?

What do you guys think? Ok deal for a refurb? New seems to be out of the question 'cuz of the price tag. I'd say **** it and go for the nexus 7 but I really want the added functionality of the S Pen (college<3)
I've been looking around a lot more today and BestBuy has it for $429.99 + 15% tax which totals up to near $500, same for Staples except it's 7 cents cheaper lol

Take a look at the below link, it's a thread on a popular Canadian deals forum . There's a way on how to obtain a coupon for $50 off any tablet over $299 at staples. So your should be able to get it for $379+tax. I believe the coupon is good until July 29.

Im just personally waiting for bestbuy or futureshop to drop the price of the tablet to $379 and use the staples coupon there.

Awesome thank you! I found a seller on amazon for 399 and he just happens to be 20 minutes away I might go see them today try and get a deal out of them (if I could save tax its enough). If not might have to just price match it as BB and get $33 off...

UPDATE: The coupon for staples won't work for me, thanks anyway man

UPDATE#2: I found a seller on eBay, BNIB for 325 including shipping I got it without hesitation should be here Monday or Tuesday! Thanks guys! I'll see you all around the forum
